  1. I'd really hate to have an Archer test press of Eddie Parker - I'm Gone, it would be shit wouldn't it
  2. Agree with you on that price Ken though a bit more for the demo maybe
  3. Running a bit late then, it's supposed to go on 6 seconds before the end!
  4. Joe Jama - My Life, cos I hadn't actually heard it til 3 months ago
  5. Kinnell why didn't I think of that, actually playing the record, I only usually sit and stare at them and imagine what they sound like...
  6. When you see nutters selling purple issues for over £100 you have to wonder whats going on. And I think you're wrong about tes pressings and acetates - I sold the April May & June acetate for about 6 times what the actual issued record sells for.

    Glen Miller

If you really want a realistic price, it's about £250 maximum, and I say this as someone who collects the Doctor Bird label and have done for years. The Patsy single is much harder to find than the Glen Miller. I'd say a Stag copy was worth more than the UK one.
  8. Bought this off Mark on here via Ebay - I just cannot believe I won it so easily, it must be the only copy in the world and it's also on vinyl which means it's the test press for the yellow issue (thanks Mr Manship), obviously I will have to sell it but thought it might interest people to see it..
  9. List them here, I'll go first, oh dammit I can't think of any...
  10. Yeah I've had that too and I think I had a Jackie Lee on the same label, something like that anyway

  12. Arguably being the correct word...try Foey Man, Stop That Train and loads more...
  13. He rang me when I pointed it out and he said he kept chopping and changing the running order and in the confusion he missed of Mel and a couple of others. Honest!
  14. Ian cocked it up himself Malc, he told me so
  15. nice one Dave. In fairness, the exclusion of Mel Britt was not deliberate.
  16. I'll go halves with you Mossy
  17. I'm thinking more along the lines of £200 Nij, thats based upon a) the quality of the record and how long it took me to get it - had Glen Miller before, never had this one (and also I was advised to ask between 200 and 300 for Stop That Train on Island and this is harder)
