Not sure mate, I'd sell it for £30 but thats because it was booted again a couple of years ago making it easily obtainable for anyone who hadn't got the 1977 boot.

The thing is, absolutely brilliant record as it is, I'm Gone is an oldie, and a played out one at that, it had a couple of months spins in 1977, was bootlegged, and that was that, it's not like people are buying a fantastic new discovery and to a lot of people, it's as old hat as Lou Pride or The Tempos or whatever - yeah big deal, you've spent £12K on a record, more fool you, you mug... actually thinking about this - I stand by what I said if the person has bought it to DJ with - but if bought for pleasure, then I guess who cares how much they spend on a record if it makes them happy

They do Stu in general, I try and go higher than that though. With the 6K for 8K records, that was for the originals, I did get 300 pressings thrown in for nothing so it was those that I made the profit on really. The gamble for me, is that I don't have money to throw around, that 6K I'd saved up all year and it left me with nothing, so I have to be sure I can sell 'em.

Don't tar everyone with the same brush, I paid 6K for 8K worth of records off someone last month

It's a T.80 Blimey aren't they expensive! They sell these 'headshells' and styli which are compatable with most decks for £15 or so on ebay, maybe I should try one of those, as I say, I just want to hear what the records sound like..
