  1. There were 3 and they were all rubbish, one was slightly better than the other two, I recorded all of them. I had a demo of Carl Douglas - Marble And Iron on that label, it was shocking..
  2. And if thats no good to you I've got one...it's 125 though
  3. I priced them a few posts above Del..
  4. I thought it was complete shite - fortunately I recorded the whole thing so if anyone wants it... n.b. the more you listen to it, the more it grows on you
  5. The second one has the map cover - the third one paraodies Atalntic's This Is Soul and is the rarest of the 3, though that was mainly for To The Ends Of The Earth and as son as that was booted, demand dropped of again. 15, 20 and 25 for the three lp's.
  6. I did have the MM press release where it said he'd been in the duo Frankie & Johnny but it's also in a book about the Scottish music scene of the 60's, who's name I've forgotten rending this post as useless as ever
  7. Johnny is Johnny Curtis who did a great track called Our Loves Disintegrating on Parlophone. Check the voices, they're identical. He died in a car accident in the late 60's after recording for Major Minor...I think
  8. They're worth keeping as they stand together as a great collection but don't believe the hype of people who reckon Al Williams is worth £75. The cheapest are the worst (Come And Get Theses Memories, These Boots) at £3 apiece, the best stuff goes for £15 to £25, but it's worth remembering that practically every record on this label apart from the last few sold a couple of thousand copies each.
  9. I know they do, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with whats said..
  10. That reads as a Press Release...
  11. It was Martin, about 3 or 4 weeks ago, it didn't sell which is why I put it on ebay, it's gone up to £2.72 now
  12. That Patsy record is fantastic - the soul one - got it on UK High Note, or did have til I lent it to Glen Walton
  13. After just playing it I think I'll leave it at 99p, what a f*cking racket
  14. Is this worth sommat then because I'm selling one on ebay and it's currently at 99p!
  15. I vote for Joe it's Northern Soul alright...love it. But you're right, I like Northern Soul way way more than I like Soul
  16. I've a mint stock copy of this if anyone wants it, £30. Monster deep track on the other side by the way
  17. KInnell Mike, just play your Torch copy, you won't be arrested..
  18. I had one like that too - did I sell it you?
  19. Thanks Joe but I do have them on cd - that doesn't count though!
  20. Yes, happened to me about a dozen times over the years. Why don't they just say they won't accept snipes?
  21. I actually thought that this was called "It Ain't" by Winston Francis...this is one of my top wants, there was one on ebay USA last week but that was a Jamaican white label - might as well have got a vinyl carvers done if I wanted a white label. Bet it's three figures on UK though. p.s. am I thinking of a track called "The Break" by Winston Francis - if so, thats another of my top wants
  22. See what I mean about the label credit though Benji? And the writers of course.
  23. Sammy Davis maybe £20, the two Johnny Nash £30 each
