  1. thought it was released in 75...or played off the lp - I have it on a 75 tape
  2. Here you go, it's all in this thread
  3. Wigan did play Dooley Silverspoon, everyone played Dooley Silverspoon, when it was released it stayed played for ages too.
  4. Try and do a search on Gordons Gin Theme Spike, we were talking about this a few weeks ago but I can't find it now, theres definitely a discussion about it
  5. I bought a Dickie Wonder from an online shop in Norwich, on the second label, they said it was a ressiue - charged me £10 - I sold it for £150. I've never seen that one of yours before - I think that might possibly be a real one!
  6. You would, but again, none are 'rare' - they are just collectable. Dickie Wonder - I didn't even know it had been booted
  7. The thing is, records like Queen Of Clubs shouldn't be derided just because they got in the charts; Blackpool was playing 70% new releases so Wigan also played new imports; two of the very biggest records 76 were Don't take away the music and Heaven must be missing an angel by Tavares - I remember hearing Car Wash played there on import too, and Center City, Do what you wanna do (T Connection) - they all charted eventually
  8. no not me Matt, I know it was played at Blackpool but I didn't hear it at Wigan
  9. I swear I never heard that there, even before it was released here
  10. You can buy it, but it's Mick Smith who's selling it - he's already put it on ebay - link below https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ME:B:EF:GB:1123 or he'll probably set sale it if you ask him
  11. That's the cheap version I guess?
  12. Kinnell, I just put a scan of it up, this one was bought in a collection at the weekend, it certainly is on flexible vinyl and I'd guess it came years after the black and white label one.
  13. James has "remixed" some of Ian's tracks as a p*ss take. Moderators removed them. James is now pretending to be upset about people not liking his remixes in the style of Ian.
  14. Your remixes all sound the same
  15. Edward Hamilton - coloured label bootleg
  16. How do you get that handclap effect?
  17. What's the acronism for 'spat me tea all over me monitor"?
  18. Pirated on Astra I think...
  19. I've got 22,000 songs on my Ipod now and to be honest, I can't think of anything else to download and put on there, so I'll use this new player to listen to stuff I may not have heard before. Then I'll download it
  20. None of the above are rare Grant, especially Eddie Foster, there's about 4 different boots of it. Some are harder to find, like the Kelly garrett, but still couldn't be classed as rare. Cobblestone never got booted.
  21. Could you send me one of those invites please Benji - much appreciated (pete.smith@freeuk.com) nb just checked, they've opened it invite-free to the UK
  22. Beg your pardon, it's All The Time that I was thinking about, soz!
  23. The Bari thing isn't rare Andy, there were hundreds pressed, before Pep closed his shop he had a boxful of them.
  24. Known but not worth anything mate - The Carrolls included UK comedienne Faith Brown, they did a fair version of We're In This Thing Together.
  25. Nice one spot on about Maxine and Javells. Impressions Can't satisfy is basically the same tune as This Old Heart Of Mine. Both that and Meet Me Halfway had to be withdrawn or maybe in the case of The Impressions, pay royalties to Motown. Apologies if anyone else has already said this.
