  1. Agree with you. I'd sell it for £25.
  2. Problem is - he might not be on here to reply.
  3. How much does that go for mate, I've got 2 of them
  4. Is this on a red label? I'd also had it lying around for years and didn't ever play it because I thought it was the bloke who did Sea Of Love I put it in a pack of imports, 50 records for £100, that was only about 6 weeks ago. Congratulations someone
  5. Lou Pride reissue is about as rare as a Disco demand copy of Footsee, there must be at least 4 different Suemi pressings of it (Blue, blue different design, white, yellow) then there's a legit reissue and also a Goldmine one.
  6. How odd, I always thought this was on a black label styrene bootleg?
  7. I thought it was just two slightly different label designs. If that's definite that it's a counterfeit then I apologise now to Paul Rudzitis because I argued with him that there wasn't one.
  8. What a load of old bollocks. Now you're going to have an "expert" on the door checking to see if your records are allowed to be played. legitimate records will be issued with passports. Meanwhile all the punters go somewhere where they can hear the records they want to hear.
  9. They have no answer to that one, or they'll bend the rules and say "oh yes in that instance it's ok to make a vinyl carver for yourself", which is, of course, a bootleg.
  10. Goodbye Love We're Through is the B side of Tom The Peeper isn't it?
  11. I did, was weird cos I ended up with 2 linda elliotts in the same week...I'll see if I can find a tommy good for you
  12. Yes still got all of them but have got as far as making a list now
  13. I feel slightly different - I'm looking at a Jimmy Radcliffe LATIA Stateside demo and thinking - I know I will never, ever play this record why did I buy it?
  14. Cheers mate. I like the Debbie Rollins too but it may be just you and me!
  15. I started doing that a couple of years back if I can find any I've got left, you can have them for nothing mate

  17. Mr Tony, probably not of interest but I have footage of Buddy & Stacey performing on Night Train, the record came out on Twirl I think, Jimi Hendrix is playing guitar in their back up band, and it's definitely him.
  18. Over the last 2 months, I've been collecting UK label records like a nutter and I have some very nice items already e.g. frankie & johnny demo tony middleton issue dean parrish demo mary love demo jimmy radcliffe demo darrell banks demo vontastics demo chapter five demo you get the drift. But now, I'm starting to wonder why I'm collecting these records - it's because I just need to have something to collect I think - and I'm thinking maybe I'd prefer to have the money rather than the records. But then after I'd sold them, what would I spend the money on? Easy one - records I don't think I'm the only one who enjoys chasing records more than actually having them, once you've got them, the thrill has gone. Or am I just f*cking mental?
  19. My trusty spy reports the following information: The 4K collection. Item number: 160317142529 . That collections been broke up and being listed by rascals100. BUT...the seller of the 4k collection, dianejane123 has bid on 290308255946 Jackie Wilson ... and won ....from Rascals100 which is a bit silly really cos they already had it in their collection that didn't sell for 4k if you look down the listing of the 4K auction..... Now why bid on it?? That dianejane users already got it in her 4k collection if she goes and looks hard enough .. ....oh I know, it's called Shill Bidding innit ...talk about dim
  20. Cheers. Not the one I saw then!
  21. I've seen this record in the last 2 months and I know where I saw it so can anyone tell me who the seller was please?
  22. Well a friend wants it and after reading what everyone has said, I thought 70 would be fair. But you're right, it probably would have gone for 100.
  23. It's an illegal copy of a rare item, pressed to look similar to the original but not sold as an original (thats known as a counterfeit). A boot/press costs between £1 and £20 in general whereas the original of the same record could be worth £1000. What they are saying is that people who buy these boots and play them when DJing are cheating the public because they are not playing the original record or putting the time in to search for that original. This is, of course, despite the fact that they do actually sound the same.
  24. For a start, there's no one sided demo of this record. Useless photocopied label, can't see the point.
