  1. Why, how would he know? And if he did know, he'd join and reply. I know places who've had discussions about me, I've never even met them or don't even know them, Just let them get on with it is the best thing to do.
  2. Good post. If being progressive is playing modern soul records to deserted floors then who wants to progress? The worst dj's are those who play to themselves and try to inflict their superior taste on others. Whether Sam does this or not, I don't know, I've not heard him dj for years and wouldn't want to going by reports I read. I just hope he never read that post I made about Andy Wall syphoning his petrol after a do at the Vic then resyphoning it back in again when he realised it was sam's car
  3. Do you mean Before It's Too Late? If so, definitely exists, had it loads of times. All 3 used to be common. There was a vernon Garrett on ebay last night actually.
  4. It's like being back at school on here sometimes...
  5. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rocking-chair-jackie...93%3A1|294%3A50 1) he's got zero feedback 2) he cannot supply a picture of the item and 3) this record does not exist on the label that he has stated that it is on
  6. Yes, Jamesons People - 1988 - taped it when it was shown and it's been on all the videos and then dvd's I've done ever since, I especially like the bit with Ady djing and you can't understand a single word he says, well I can't anyway
  7. just saying I never heard it played there - I knew Siz discovered it about the same time as Sue Lynne and McCadden reviewed it in Soul Time
  8. It's called Everybody I Know, Harry. Was disovered in the Manchester area 1977, never really went big but has been known since then.
  9. It's a boot - there's a handful of titles on this label, I had an Alexander Patton recently.

  11. The latter. I think I'll hold on to the lee Roye because I actually rate it higher than the book price which is a very rare occurrence but make me a ball park offer on the tops demo and I'll say yes or no. Swaps maybe?
  12. It's always quiet on a saturday afternoon...
  13. Your post makes no sense whatsoever. Where you replying to someone else? Did I mention the event? I said if I run out of cheques, I order another chequebook. What the f*ck has that got to do with me 'going out' or buying tickets? It's about ordering a chequebook. C-H-E-Q-U-E-B-O-O-K.
  14. Shut up Dave, you're not clever.
  15. PATSY - MAN IS TWO FACED (BLUES IN THE NIGHT) - DOCTOR BIRD. John auctioned my last copy which was EX minus about 4 months back and it went for around £300. This copy I've got now, I believe is absolutely unplayed - it's stunning mint, in it's original Doctor Bird sleeve, the likelihood of finding a half decent Doctor Bird record is very small anyway, but this one is mind blowing. Anyway if anyone wants it, it's £275 or good UK label trades. cheers Pete https://www.soul-source.co.uk/rare-northern...ced-doctor-bird
  16. Yeah I think I'd probably sell them with a bit of arm twisting. Lee Roye is a stock copy in EX with a few non-sounding marks, Four Tops is a red and white demo, visually vg+ plays terrific though, clean label, centre intact.
  17. Buster Jones - Baby Boy They used to call me a baby boy, because I played with my choo choo toy
  18. If I'm running out of cheques, I order another chequebook and it's here in no time..
  19. I've got a Lee Roye US issue and a Four Tops - Something about you - Tamla Motown red and white demo. Dunno if I want to flog them though.
  20. Not as much as Gary does for suggesting it
  21. I had a few hundred off him too, all were shagged, think I kept about 3 of them
  22. My apolgies, I should have mentioned I got about a dozen people ask for it once I reduced it!
  23. No I was checking to see if I actually had it by the 4 Tops before I made a joke
  24. It's a good idea...
