But it's not all Northern Soul, that's the point. Beeks made a good point about comparing it with rock music. I love punk but can't stand heavy metal. Why do I have to like Northern AND Modern when they are two worlds apart? I f*cking hate it when people say you should love all soul music, it's utter b*llocks. Does that mean we have to like this crap served up in the charts as R&B as well?

I don't think anyone's disputing that but the point was that someone played an hours worth of modern at a northern night. 2 records is surely enough. Bit like if I played an hour of reggae at a northern night - people would be expecting to hear NS.

Just have a look and see what the delta number is, if its 10030 it's the boot. Also I think the titlers are written in black on the orig and red on the boot

Imagine a fast reggae version of Exodus with someone talking all over the top of it...typical UK production, sorry Andreas, I think it's as bad as those Torpedo things I sold for £200 yesterday!
