  1. At the end of the day it's a boot and it's not a rare boot so if you get £25 for it good luck to you
  2. Yes they are brilliant - especially the inst of Don't Pretend and Temptation Walk
  3. Didn't know there was one!
  4. Very very rare - I got 4 off the same guy off ebay and put Mark F onto him as well, apart from the ones that guy had, I don't think there have been any more on ebay. Managed to hold on to one of my copies for myself.
  5. Definitely played Dave. Have a tape with it on from Wigan. But the inst was played ten times more. Strange you put the Jimmy Bowen in with Peter hamilton, chalk and cheese there, think the Peter Hamilton is way up there with the top insts. The best insts of all time have to be Exus Trek Bari Track Frantic Escape The Champion Cigarette Ashes one of the worst is Tough Girl
  6. It's hard to say mate as some of the photos are not great, there are some obvious boots in there like Gwen owens, Salvadors, but if you want anything valeuing you can always email me a list or just bring them over my house!
  7. ED CROOK - THAT'S ALRIGHT - TRI SOUND Nashville matrix stamped original. Excellent plus condition. £75 free postage.
  8. I don't know but half the British things claimed as their old cover ups were reviewed by me (and others) in Beatin Rhythm 20 years ago under their real names
  9. I don't think it's one of those that you're talking about. They all came out around 2000 to 2003 and have two tracks from the same label, and the labels on both sides are the same. The ones with different tracks from different labels e.g. Okeh on one side and Neptune on the other, are the work of the recent bootleggers talked about in this thread.
  10. No wonder it was never released, the guy sounds like he's Barney Gumble off the Simpsons. I'd feel robbed if I paid a quid for that.
  11. Think it's different to the one that came out on the Era reissue but not particularly rare
  12. That's a recent reissue or bootleg of an existing reissue by the looks of it, looks nothing like the "original" reissue. As for the date stamp - why bother.

  14. Was just about to say that myself. I've had a couple of those, always struggled to sell it even at 30 quid.

  16. Second one must be an RCA press from late 70-'s
  17. Cheers. I did take the £20 for it.
  18. Yes just realise that was what they were on about. F*cking terrible record
  19. Thank you! Will stick a price on it now :-)
  20. What sound file Ted?
  21. OK you lot have lost me now, is someone else selling the record and they've put a clip up or something?
  22. Trouble is when it comes to these sort of records you might as well be asking me about classical music, I have no knowledge and have to rely on books. Manship had the bill brandon at 15, it's a good uptempo dancer. The devons I've had loads of times and I never considered it rare so I thought that price was about right. The Charles Jackson wasn't listed anywhere but another of his was, so I just went by that really. I sold the devons, I haven't sold the bill brandon and if the REAL price isn't too far away on the charles jackson, I'll sell it to the first person who asked for what I listed it for, however if it's like over 50 quid then I might not
  23. CHARLES JACKSON - I'M GONNA GET YOUR LOVE - CAPITOL anyone know - I'd never heard of it so I stuck 20 quid on it - yet I've now had 5 people ask for it which makes me a bit suspicious that I may have got the price wrong!
