  1. Why not just say oh right what can I do to help Don instead of closing your thread? What does you've had a while mean, is the product only guaranteed for 2 days or somrthing? I've only switched the deck on a couple of times since I received the cartridge and each time the stylus has dug into the groove and the vinyl has literally changed colour, you can see it doing so as it goes along, as if it's made for a wider groove. Never mind. Obviously my fault.
  2. Tells you exactly who it is in a post above...
  3. Have to say I paid more for Kell Osbourne 12 years ago than this rare issue went for, that's pretty cheap and the issue really is hard to find.
  4. Tremendous record that, I had it on an old Pye Golden Guinea LP, some kind of Blues compilation I think
  5. Spooners Crowd mate, Two In The Morning
  6. set sale prices: Mitch Ryder £150 Adventurers £200 Tommy Bush £400 Garnet Mimms £20
  7. I buy one, I say I'm having problems with it digging the vinyl up (it also makes the records sound twice as crackly), instead of suggesting a solution, the seller says he's never had a problem himself and locks the thread so that I can't respond. That's rubbish customer service for £25 Don.
  8. Shall I start charging people for getting the record to them within 24 hours in return
  9. As far as credit cards go, I've just had to return my machine last month - I had over £30 in standing charges but made no sales on it - everyone wants to use paypal and it's pointless me keeping the machine just for the two people who still pay by card. I agree, it's crazy to send someone you don't know money with no guarantees.
  10. Having to go to the bank, buy dollars, conceal them in an envelope, hope and pray it got there....or having to send by Western Union money transfer with no guarantee that you'd hear anything back
  11. Pretty outrageous statement there Chris. If the account is in credit there is no charge to buyer or seller. I never ask for friends and family, people just do it because they know they can trust me, they'll get their record, and if they don't, they'll get their money back. Thousands of transactions, you find me one person who didn't get their item from me. My customers are extremely important to me as they pay for the food I eat, they are fully covered - by me!
  12. I just sell old pressings sometimes - 30, 40 years old. If I was actually making them and selling them then yes, that wouldn't be acceptable.
  13. If you can switch the macro button on, on the camera, then you can get really good in focus close ups
  14. Well I'm happy for him too but I'd never personally buy an acetate of two tracks that came out, if not alt versions.
  15. Harthon production though isn't it
  16. No I mean it looks like it's stuck on top of another one, I know they don't have moulded labels!
  17. I didn't get on too well with the one I bought, you can see it actually changing the colour of the vinyl when it plays anything as if it's like digging it up. I've put the old one back on now!
  18. two topics the same on the go
  19. Opposite of that - I think the label is stuck on and the lack of any details are very dodgy, plus are there any other Dyno Dynamic acetates on that label?
  20. Some suggestions MARILYN POWELL - PLEASE GO AWAY STER PHONICS - DON'T LEAVE ME FAYE CRAWFORD - WHAT HAVE A DONE WRONG ANITA BRYANT - MY MIND'S PLAYING TRICKS ON ME AGAIN GWEN STACEY - AIN'T GONNA CRY NO MORE LINDA CARR - A HEART WITHOUT LOVE JUDY CLAY - I HAVEN'T GOT WHAT IT TAKES ANNABELLE FOX - LONELY GIRL MARIE KNIGHT - A LITTLE TOO LONELY
  21. Apologies for not reading through the thread, the youtube clips are playing up a bit but I'm going to add to that, I apologise if someone else has posted this but MY GOD this is incredible...and only ten quid
  22. I had one of these for sale yesterday and nobody bought it. Unbelievable. I've never heard such a heartbreaking performance such as Big Maybelle's on Oh Lord etc, especially right near the end where it has a chord change and she almost cries asshe sings. An amazing record.
  23. No it was brand new mate, I had that and another one, a girl singer I think, I honestly didn't remember having them as I'd put them with "modern" soul 45's which I look through once every decade
