  1. sold THE NEW YORKERS - DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR FOOL /YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME - TAC FUL TF 101. SUPER GLOSSY VINYL, HAS SOME LITTLE MARKS FROM SLEEVE REMOVAL BUT PLAYS MINT. FOOTBALLER LABEL DESIGN. £325 INCLUDING SPECIAL DELIVERY. 01902 340255 pete.smith@freeuk.com
  2. White promo of this (and Eloise laws) is a bootleg
  3. Just as a side, the A La carte cd's are really well compiled - some excellent and interesting ideas for compilations
  4. So fair enough, some people get fooled by bootlegs and repros but here's a seller advertising a Frank Wilson on Soul, correctly and honestly, as a re release (it's hardly likely to be an original)...and some people have bid over £50 for it despite it being available from most dealers at £5 or £6. Nutters. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRANK-WILSON-DO-I-LOVE-YOU-INDEED-I-DO-7-SINGLE-MINT_W0QQitemZ300367796616QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Records?hash=item45ef50d988
  5. That's a rare single on UK Rio but again you should be able to get a repress (on Prince Buster label) both sides are dionne Warwick covers and are brilliant (Long Days Short Nights or vice versa is the B side)
  6. Yes if you search for the seller Enthucol on ebay, he'll have one - his name's Phil by the way.
  7. p.s. you can get a repro of Frankenstein for a fiver
  8. Although Byron Lee was much respected as an artist and a producer, his records were never taken very seriously because he was "uptown" and played the rich resorts, in other words he didn't come out of the ghetto and therefore wasn't considered authentic enough. Frankenstein is a fantastic instrumental which is pretty untypical of lee as it sounds more like The Skatalites. If you want to hear some soulful jamaican stuff, the rocksteady section on this forum contains gem after gem..
  9. Must be nice though to be in a position where it doesn't matter if it sells or not cos you don't need the money. When I buy records I have to be positive I can sell them on at a small profit, I can't afford to have things sitting on a shelf. I actually sell that Donnie Wells record for £30!
  10. Thats double what it's worth!
  11. I agree completely with Dave, 125-150 for a demo though less clued up people would probably pay more easy 250 - 300 for an issue.
  12. He f*cking diddled you then, it ain't worth that now let alone 4 years ago
  13. I've reported it, hope others will too, seller doesn't even mention that earl jackson is on the B side
  14. Yep it's a bootleg with a different artist on the B side...
  15. Someone bought it Dave, thanks for the plug, your cheque is in the post
  16. Looking to finalise something on this one on wednesday evening.
  17. You're not wrong there Dave, phenomenal record and if one record was going to sell today I thought that would be it!

  20. I like Ten To One and You Fooled me. Can't stand "Everything you always wanted to know", think it's one of the worst records ever played at Wigan. Strangely, I have black issues copies of both ten To One and You Fooled me for sale at the moment. 60 and 40 respectively. 100 and 75 is optimistic.
  21. Yeah everyone. See also topic called "Whats happened to ebay categories".
  22. No, meaning have to trawl through absolutely everything...boring
  23. UK is working, US not working
  24. There's not even an option to search for 45's now, just Records
  25. is it just me? Clicked my bookmarked "r&b" section and it just comes up as "records" with no option to go to the category of music that you want to browse????
