Yes the recordable 8 tracks are very rare, I had one from a boot sale about 10 years ago with around 200 pre recorded titles, I binned it when I moved back up here. At Grammar School Records in Rye, they had an outhouse round the back of thr shop completely filled with brand new 8 track tapes!

I've given literally thousands away. Whenever I buy a job lot I end up keeping about 5 records and giving the other 500 away. I only keep the Northern so anything else gets binned.

Any record which has a triangle and number after it (known as the delta number) - this is the easiest way to spot a bootleg. Numbers beginning with 90*** and 10*** were pressed from 1974 to 1977.

They do exactly that mate! I often look to see if things I've sold are on there, they very rarely are.

Don't be daft - you can't go by Popsike, they only list about 30% of items!

I was going to say exactly the same thing...won't earn anything djing Northern. My advice, not that it's worth anything, would be to wait for a couple of days until the police to come back to you, if they don't have any good news, well you've seen how the Soul Source community can pull together in times of crisis. I would do it, but I'm still stung by people cricising the Fingers collection/fund, and I'm not putting up with that again unfortunately. Someone will though, I'm sure.
