  1. The 4 track is a Soul Supply release from the 80's, before they started doing cd's or joined with Goldmine.
  2. It's the B side of the Eskee 45 and also on the UK Right On 45, it's not on Red Bird as far as I know.
  3. I'm old too but I'm going in the bath...then in bed by 10.30. pathetic really.
  4. Said above mate, the names are all in Neil's book but unfortunately it's not here so can't quote them to you, I honestly don't think there were any from Worcester though, their tractor broke down on the way...
  5. With the icons, go to your user name top right of screen and wave the mouse over it, you'll get some options, you need to personalise, I think it may be in settings - it's up there somewhere anyway
  6. You probably offered him more than I did Rob
  7. Ah now thats weird because when I told Eddie I'd seen this yesterday for the first time since it's broadcast, it looked exactly how I remembered it to be. Three minutes of footage viewed just once 35 years ago, it's amazing that we can still get a picture of it in our heads at all. I have to say it made me feel very strange watching it, I actually felt like crying, I don't know why, very emotional, like a bit of lost youth coming back to me yeah I know, but thats what it felt like
  8. I mean if a record is worth 500 quid but two people are deperate for it, they will battle with each other until one wins it and that could have made the price rise up to 700, 800 quid - and then the next thing we know, all copies are sold at a starting price of 800 quid. Look at that Action single on JM this week, £250, I doubt if one's ever fetched above £50 before.
  9. I'm sure it's insiders smuggle most of the stuff out. I've got 3 tracks by the Damned from 1977 from an unbroadcast show directed by Mike Mansfield. Never shown anywhere.
  10. But the world goes on without Ebay though, and popsike isn't the most reliable of sources. Most deals are done privately I think. Ebay and Manship auction prices usually bear no resemblence to the record's true value if more than one person wants it...
  11. Just trying to say, in the big scheme of thing, the Ray Pollard has never been one of the rarer ones that's all. I sold Shirley Edwards for £500. Now I'd rate it at maybe £800. Everyone else seems to think it's £1500 but let's see them get that for it.
  12. Not now, did have, bought it when it was £300 - about a year ago. No only joking - 3 years ago.
  13. Spot on Joe, 1100 dollars about 700 quid absolute tops. In any nick!
  14. Ray Pollard isn't even one of the rare Shrine 45's, more money than sense!
  15. "Nice record but seller cost me an extra 90 quid, thanks for nothing"
  16. Leave him a negative feedback for being so unhelpful.
  17. Yeah I'll offer you the amount we talked about for Broadway Cissy if thats any good to you, oh and the other offer is always open Steve.
  18. I know it did, I still think it's a shit thing to do
  19. I don't know Mike, I still think it must have been a short incidental clip from a more recent documentary. Central tv did one about Pete Waterman about 5 years ago and included Northern dancing footage which I'd never seen before and as you know, I was sure I had everything. I used to have a really good friend way on the inside at the BBC, he got me tons of Bowie stuff which had never been seen since the day it was broadcast, also three or four full episodes of TOTP from 71-72, sadly he left and I've lost touch with him now.
  20. Tax was already paid on that record 30 years ago though, how can they set a tax figure on second hand goods?
  21. Mick Smith had mine (stock copy), got some very good trades for it equalling about 1000 or 1200, that was in 2001. Few weeks later I got him a Christine Cooper issue and a janie Grant issue too.
  22. I'd already pm'd him before you got out of bed!
  23. I'd want two for that...
  24. Ha ha, the amount of times I've had that and never even played the B side! DOH!
