  1. off a pressing maybe!
  2. One for £4 here mate https://cgi.ebay.com/The-C-O-D-s-Pretty-Baby-Im-A-Good-45-Northern-Soul_W0QQitemZ350310964168QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMusic_on_Vinyl?hash=item5190291bc8
  3. Yeah but even so Paul, your price is still more sensible, I'd feel guilty asking more than 300.
  4. Daft prices for a soul pack record, I couldn't believe it when it went over £10, it used to be as common as Beti Webb. Great track, but not worth anywhere near what it goes for now. I used to have the LP a few years back.
  5. I charge £1.80 for the same - new mailer, 2 or usually 3 pieces of card, £1.65 for recorded delivery, 15p for my costs. Now, if I see people charging more than me I immediately wonder why, if people are charging more than £2 I'll ask them why, and I just won't buy from anyone overcharging postage. What really bugs me are the people who say £2 first record 30p each after or 50p each after, when in fact you can send at least 3 records for the base price of £2. So they can f*ck off as well. Mick Smith says to me, every time someone overcharges him on postage he emails them telling them that their feedback will reflect the overcharging, they often relent.
  6. Couldn't ask for more info than that - thanks Dad!
  7. I presume this is well known seeing as it's in JM's book (but not TB's book) ISAAC HAYES - SWEET TEMPTATION / LAURA WE'RE ON OUR LAST GO ROUND - SAN AMERICAN 501. I only bought it because something was nagging me in the back of my mind that it might be rare, but to be honest it's shit so here I am wondering if it's actually worth anything at all? Also, when does it date from, and (daft question) is it THE Isaac Hayes and if so, how come he's on an unknown label?
  8. Dean Courtney still is!
  9. It's drenched in something alright but it's not soul.
  10. Apologies to people who have tried to contact me via Soul Source and haven't heard back from me, for some reason I've had problems with PM's and the site in general has been a bit weird on my pc today. I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can but could I just remind people that the most surefire way to get to me quickest is by phone or using my email address, these always take priority over SS lists as I send the list out to my subscribers long before it goes up on SS. cheers
  11. Hated his spots, his spots use to signify the end of the night and the start of the downer. Festival Time complete with massive hiss anyone? Couple of his big reactivations were You Lie So Well (Marie Knight) and Takin It Away (Free).
  12. It's alright seeing them listed at 100 but check back through my sales lists, I think I started it at 60, reduced it to 50 a couple of weeks later, then 40.

  14. F*cking ridiculous, I listed this 3 times before I sold no more than 2 months ago, it ended up going for 40 quid. UK one is quite rare but shouldn't be more than 50.
  15. They're a completely different series; the Eddie Holman comes from the mid 80's when there wasn't so much demand and they didn't sell huge amounts, the Little Ann from the late 90's and it sold loads.
  16. Those early Kent's are hard to find - 15/20 quid apiece
  17. I charge 2.30 to Australia, brand new mailer and 3 pieces of card. 6 quid by signed for airmail.
  18. Oh I dunno, it's only about 2 years old isn't it?
  19. It's just the way you make it sound equivalent to shooting someone.
  20. What a f*cking tool
  21. No shit Sherlock
  22. It's not rare Dave, well not in my opinion - 5 or 6 for the labelled one and a tenner for the WL. I'm yet to be convinced that any of these 80's/90's demos and TP's are worth anything.
  23. Do you mean members feedback Rob? Click on FORUM at the top of the page and all the different sections should come up, two thirds down is a section called Members feedback.
  24. "Violating the law". yes thats right, SWAT teams are ready to go into action right at this moment at the home of a pedantic German soul source member.
