  1. No because I'd already mentioned that mine is the same as the one on the left!
  2. Well done Ian, great work, another mystery put to bed. Apart from one thing; where's all the copies???
  3. No it wasn't new but it wasn't popular and widespread until the end of the decade, for singles I mean.
  4. Hmm. A tricky one. Because there's horns and drums in one channel, cymbals and bass in another, just as if it were a stereo record.
  5. Thats the same as SW upside down Alan it can be read either way, you njust have to play it now see if it's stereo and from what we've learned so far, it should be.
  6. There would be no reason for them to reissue it 1969 though - it didn't get reissued here til 74 and that was after Out Of The Past bootlegged it. I'm pretty convinced it's real.
  7. Way before my time Grandad, didn't even know that had been played, just always thought it was a soul pack filler!
  8. Well what was their big Northern record?
  9. Len Barry's version is great, and it's as fast as the jackie Trent one, in fact it got played alomgside it for a few weeks - brilliant version, so is the Ronnettes actually. When I said I had an Aussie version, I might be getting mixed up - I actually have an Aussie version of "Send her away", the b side of You baby
  10. Is it the Four Tops?
  11. Yes he does, took a while for that to get popular though, about 20 years!
  12. is that the one I recorded, has Chapter Five, Lydia Marcelle, Anthony White etc? Fantastic sound quality, for some reason sat on the stage that night and recorded from there, it was half empty.
  13. If only someone could have given them lessons
  14. Mitch Ryder & detroit wheels?
  15. It's certainly not UK mate, the C's are unmistakable.
  16. Cheers for that Bogue but I haven't got a f*cking clue what you're talking about
  17. Well this is a bit of a mystery so far, a record hundreds of us know and own and nobody else has got a stereo copy? I own a FREAK!
  18. Mine is the same as the picture on the left Roger
  19. Not saying it doesn't, but it saves the stress of wtahcing to see if someone outbids you, and it also stops me changing my mind and bidding higher than I originally wanted to!
  20. Thats rubbish I'm afraid, sniping is invaluable, it's got nothing to do with getting things cheap, it's about not showing your hand. I've won over 3,000 records from $2 to $1000 using it.
  21. They'll be too heavy for second class, best way is parcel post.
  22. I will offer £35 (has anyone actually made any offers Ezzie?)
  23. have rejigged a couple of prices here and there...
