  1. Last year I had another one from the same era that I didn't think was on a white promo - Andre Maurice "You're the cream of the crop" - that must be pretty rare too.
  2. Chakly, or Chalky even, thanks for that, I've been after it for years. Pretty boring because of the repetitiveness unfortunately but remember that Harthon acetate of the If You Can't Be True instrumental I sold last year, that was even more boring, at one point they play the same 4 bars for about a minute. Laws Of Love instrumental is pretty boring too.
  3. I swear, never seen this as a demo, didn't even know they existed.
  4. I gave up reading after I saw the 5th entry down, a pressing of Bits n Pieces for $90...
  5. After nearly 15 years I know when you are having a bad day, it's when computer stuff is going wrong...
  6. What you getting so worked up about?
  7. No worries, sussed it
  8. No I do understand, but in basic terms thats what it looks like to the uneducated eye
  9. In black and white, on the first thread you Mike and others are supporting a dance studio; on this thread, you Mike and others are not. Simple!
  10. Yes it must be that, because it doesn't appear on my buy it nows..
  11. Oh yeah I agree with you, ebay.co.uk is just useless nowadays because of those.
  12. It's because of having to work out postage in dollars mate, a lot of people don't understand that I'm charging the same in dollars what I would be in pounds so they email asking what the postage REALLY is.
  13. Any ideas what I should be asking for this? Popsike shows prices ranging from $109 (was it broken?) to $910. Manship book says £400. I was thinking about £300. Anyone?
  14. Well this lot are all originals but about 3 weeks back I did put a load of 70's pressings on ebay.com and got phenomenal sales on them to be honest. Yesterday I listed another 50 pressings but put them on co.uk and there are no bids. So from a sales point of view, .com seems to be the best option. In fact I don't know why I didn't put all of todays originals on com.
  15. It was fun and it also underlined the fact that there are an awful lot of people buying records who don't have a clue, despite this selling at £150 or whatever, several of us insisted that it wasn't worth half that.
  16. No it's not mate. I know where you mean. Perhaps it's because they are Buy It Now and not auction?
  17. Still not seeing it, must be going nuts! * no, it's not there
  18. I do, but it doesn't - if you put it on ebay.com it does, but if you put it on ebay.co.uk, you had to pay extra (years ago you didn't have to pay)
  19. If you were selling on UK ebay there used to be an option where for an extra 10p or something you could tick a box which enabled your listing to be seen on Ebay.com as well - I can't find this option now, does anyone know if it's still there, somewhere?
  20. Too Much Of A Good Thing..
  21. All of the people who produce this stuff are members of Soul Source, this must be quite hurtful for them, all this slagging off and piss taking - at the end of the day it's just another way of trying to make a living - isn't it? (p.s. before you ask - I'm not one of them )
  22. But, and I know this is extreme, what if I was to slag off this particular dance class thing, and they threatened to sue? I suppose they could do if they thought it was affecting their livelihood?
  23. They are /we are, thats the problem. Cause have you seen what happens when you do? Thats why (despite our constant butting of heads) you have to have people like Paul S and James on a site like this otherwise it would be just so namby-pamby "after you sir no after you sir" that it wouldn't be worth carrying on. But the straight talkers are exceptions to the rule nowadays I guess.
  24. Can you sell it to Bridgey cos I don't think I want to sell mine now!
