  1. Apparently, when I was asking about it a couple of years ago, it wasn't worth anything!
  2. I'd have told you what I paid for it if you'd asked me, it's not some big secret.

  4. It's on Roulette, usually loads on ebay pretty cheap. he played a lot of Northern this morning including The Bats - Listen to my heart and Billy Joe Royal - Hearts desire, ended with Dean Parrish - I'm on my way.
  5. Aren't those Sound patterns ones recent presses?
  6. We can inflict it on the public by me including it in this weeks podcast! n.b. maybe I should make this topic disappear then it can be covered up as Johnny Cash
  7. The Jim White record? Thought there'd only be me like it!
  8. I think John Pugh did a couple of these in Wolverhampton a long time back - was living down south at the time so no idea how they went. Great idea though, good location too Mark, lot of interest round your way.
  9. deaf git
  10. So, they're playing records from the 50's and this one sounds too dated? It's perfect for today. Whachootalkinbout Tim?
  11. What a shame, the backing track to this is absolutely belting but the vocalist is a cross between Lee Hazlewood and Johnny Cash, if only it had been sung 'properly'. Or in stereo so I could have removed the vocal maybe...
  12. Not bought any for a decade or so but I reckon I used to chuck 80% of the content when I used to buy them.
  13. Charlie Thomas was definitely issued, I've had 3 or 4 of them, but it is VERY rare, nobody seems to realise how hard to find it is, and this is the first demo I've seen for about 10 years!
  14. Do you mean Bazza? I got a seriously f*cked up pm off him around the time I was doing my bit for charity, he's in a bad way, lost his job/business whatever so I think he decided to blow of a bit of steam and unfortunately I got the brunt of it, presumably because I was collecting money for someone.
  15. Well I've not changed my mind about this, it's great
  16. I don't know who it is either.
  17. I was looking for those panties you said your missus liked you to wear Grant...searched for Black lace, this is what came up
  18. The price The record https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-LACE-DO-THE-CONGA-HEY-HEY-COPENHAGEN-1984_W0QQitemZ370240731226QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Records?hash=item563411385a
  19. Don't think it did come out on DB Dave. I may be wrong but don't remember it in the listings.
  20. Topic elsewhere about this, everyone raved about it in an over the top manner!
  21. Yeah I think so, let me Do It is f*cking brilliant...loved it since 75
  22. Maybe because they had a hit with Every Night?
  23. Joe White & Chuck Joseph - You Got To Go - Gayfeet FSP 6994. That's the original Jamaican release from 1966 so I'm guessing yes, it is going to be pretty hard to come by on original, and if it does it'll be knackered, so I think I did ok as this copy is EX/EX+
  24. How does that work?
