  1. Keep it, that guy is the worst dealer on ebay, sent me a Marv Johnson record which hissed for the first 30 seconds and when I complained he literally said "What do you expect, it's 45 years old". He has more negative feedbacks than anyone else on ebay and what an attitude. Click this https://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=thuds&Dirn=Received+by&ref=home
  2. No reply
  3. Why don't you just put SOLD next to it then and stop bumping your list to the top every time you sell something? Just thought I'd ask...
  4. pm'd you, probably too late
  5. You're right, I did, I had no idea it came out on UK.
  6. Yes of course that's why I made no reference to them at all
  7. The backing's good but the vocals are typical 'pub singer'!

  12. James Royal is the guy on CBS. I posted uop a pic of the Notations on demo earlier on. James Galt included members of McGuiness Flint* who had a couple of hits in the early 70's. Keep listing the obscure ones mate, theres some that I don't know and that always gets me excited! *That should say 'included Gallacher & Lyle'
  13. Chap made a strange statement purporting to be about the topic, though that's a moot point
  14. Chalky, you're being overzealous. Back on topic. Collecting British means that you're always in with a chance of finding that one elusive item. Collecting American, you often never get that chance, ever. I think I've found every single British release I ever wanted and although I've got very few now, I know one day they will turn up again. You can't say that about your Don Gardners etc
  15. Who's probably quite good mates, you've lost me?

Don't like it, a bit lame, but I love the Marine Girls..."On my mind", "Lazy ways", two of the best tracks from the early 80's
  17. Might have done if I hadn't posted it up 6 months ago
  18. I'd never post anything!
  19. I really like the Keith record, and 98.6, though just as examples of excellent US sunshine pop music of the 60's. Couldn't get on with them as Northern records really. Great productions on these tracks. Anyone remember what the Northern track is on one of his LP's, think it's a version of a well known dancer.
  20. Can't see London dubbing from disc to be honest, you're right about some of the President releases though! Worst sound quality on a UK record must be Dee dee Sharp - Bye bye baby (red Atlantic)

Peggy Lee - but the best of the lot is by The McCoys - it sounds like hang on Sloopy Part 2 but it's incredible. Or the one below, Peggy Lee vocal over Iggy Pop's "The Passenger", sounds weird but very effective
  22. Anything after 1970 doesn't count
