1) About 99% 60's, though there are a few 70's to collect like Skullsnaps, Jon Ford, Ray merrell etc. 2) I buy what I like, if I buy Kent, Joe boy etc they would go in my reissues box. 3) I think it's because they are easily available. The 60's records were only on catalogue for a few months so it's real record collecting trying to obtain them. Sorry the answers are brief!

Not quite mostly gospel, he sang what he was told to; the label was specifically made to issue 'song poems'. People (i.e. anyone like you or me) wrote lyrics, paid a fee, and an artist would record them on vinyl and the record would be pressed. Rod Keith did literally hundreds of these, they would release absolutely anything that was paid for which is why there is so much garbage on the label. Mick Smith rang me one day about 18 months back from a junk shop where he'd just found some reggae, this was one of them, I said snap them up and stick this one on ebay. It was VG+ no centre, it went for £300.

People who stopped going in 74 will say anything after that was shit. People who stopped going in 75 will say the same, and so on. For me, 1976 and most of 1977 was an unbelievable time and the records played then were the best ever. 1978 was terrible music-wise and I stopped going in august, though I'd been every week.
