I rate this as one of the rarest 45's I've had in years. This isn't the version with the rosette on the label, it's the original vinyl Detroit press. Don't get this confused with the light blue label vinyl press, that turned up in the late 80's, those are dubious. This was bought in Detroit, it certainly looks it's age and it has two stamps, Bell Sound and one I can't make out. Visually it's only vg with all the attributes of a record never kept in a sleeve, plays wise, it's bloomin brilliant, both sides, barely a click. Label has some wear on the raised parts but no writing. A seriously rare record and it's not even in Manships price guide. POSTAGE 2.00 RECORDED. The other night I was going through a load of old dvd's and found one called "Incredibly Strange Films presents Tripe X Trailers' so I thought this might be a laugh, anyway I put it on and this music came on and I thought, that sounds familar, turns out it was The Right Kind by The Jaybirds (UK Sue) but with a male vocal! I didn't know one existed, does anyone know who it is and on what label?

And Ady's set, and Mick H's - I had that Baby Don't You Weep years before they officially released it and I didn't do a single copy, nor of anyone else's tracks either

Yeah that has the duet version but for some reason, the bootleggers extended the intro and it sounds very amateurish. Julian Covey on the B side I think.

Trouble is, dub plate was the name given to an acetate by Jamaican sound systems, so dub plates are in fact Emidiscs. Well acetates anyway. Or rather they were, before 'carvers' came along. I used to get all my old acetates cut at Jah Tubbys Studio (JTS)
