  1. THE MAGNIFICENTS - THERE CAN BE A BETTER WAY / DON'T TAKE YOUR LOVE - MAM MAGNIFICENT RECORDS. NEAR MINT. BOOKS AT 800. LOOKING FOR 700 ono (possible trades one equal item or two 350 quiders - no £100/200 items) cheers
  2. It's a rare single, I got two off ebay last year, one was about 50 quid, the other I think I paid 19 quid, sold both for 100 each, very hard to find - good version too, not a patch on Ray but not bad at all.
  3. Nobody will question your reputation after reading that.
  4. Yeah, anything from 1964 to 1970, I would say 7 out of every 10 bids is a fake. It's decimated the reggae section and many people, such as myself, have stopped listing on there now. Last lot I did 12 auctions, every single one ruined by a fake bidder.
  5. Keamus, did you mean that anyone who wants special delivery should add another £3, because Recorded Delivery only costs an extra 74 pence.
  6. Because Rudy Clark wrote the Maxine Brown cover on the A side but they mixed the two up.
  7. What really gets on my nerves is these fake bidding c*nts on ebay reggae, I'll do a covering bid of say 30 quid, I beat the high bidder who only bids 15 quid, so the record is mine for 16 quid - then a fake comes along last minute and bids 40; he doesn't pay, and a day later I get a second chance offer - at 40 quid.
  8. Yeah I could quote a thousand instances where I've lost by one dollar - you just never know what they did actually bid
  9. Is that a US one? I'd try 250 on that.
  10. Guess they must have used other artists as well then as C5 only recorded 3 tracks (4 if you count the B side of One In A Million but that's not actually them)
  11. Dave, how about this that I got at the weekend - probably the longest-searched record I've been after, finally got one..not the pictured side, but the flip "He is back"
  12. Are you sure it's another Chapter 5 - have you got a link to wherever it came from? p.s. Couldn't really fail with that ref could you, the cross for Heskey came from a bloke who would have been sent off had he played for us, and your substitute broke our guys leg in the last minute and got off scot free, Villa deserved nothing from that game....dirty dirty Villa.
  13. Whats that EP thing in the middle there? The black label Italian one is that old copy of mine.
  14. Well he could have said absolutely nothing like all the other people who asked for it did! Anyway Steve often helps me out with prices of modern soul things, I don't mind when the good guys get a break
  15. CLYDIE KING - IF YOU WERE A MAN - IMPERIAL DEMO. STONE MINT. £90 JIMMY & VELA CAMERON - LOVING YOU IS SUCH A GROOVE - REPRISE. EX. £90 pm if interested - free special delivery
  16. I eventually got offered 250 for it. Talk about making a cock up!
  17. Just what I was thinking myself. Would have love to have known who it was.
  18. All sold except David Ruffin - anyone want it for 25 quid?
  19. Outbid me on that, tw*t
  20. Sorry I know this is off topic but Bronco Bullfrog is terrible, it all looks ad-libbed and the actors in it were just ordinary kids, not actors, and it shows - the only reason anyone would want to watch that is to see the clothes.
  21. Looks like a photoshop job to me! Especially as the Nolan Chance record came out 2 years before the Bunky label started up
  22. Bumping or not, it's multiple postings on the same thread and people were complaining about it so I just mentioned it, no big deal.
  23. I listed a record this morning for £15. Someone told me they'd give me £50 for it as I'd made a mistake, which was really nice of them. I've now been offered £150 for it by two different people. If I was to sell it to anyone but the first guy, I might as well pack this business in as any integrity I had would be wiped out with that one transaction. Plus I'm not greedy.
  24. I have to mention Steve Plumb who not only told me I'd priced a record way too low, but also offered me more than three times what I listed it for. Not many people would have done that. Thank you Steve. Someone else told me it's worth 200/300 quid. So that's my cock up of the year so far.
