  1. Honest answer - I don't know - I gave them all to Mick Smith to deal with as we bought them together, I know he sold a lot privately then stuck them on ebay, I can ask him if there are any left tomorrow.
  2. Same here, always hated it, always sat down when it came on, and it would always come on in the middle of a great run of records. Quite like the vocals, just don't like the song/music!
  3. It's your ears, it sounds exactly like him because it is him!
  4. he is right - should be a mint Skinhead Train for that price, not a "G"
  5. A missing centre on a British pressing devalues the item by at least 50% most of the time
  6. I see what you mean but I still don't understand Joe. All 3 bids are the same so why is one taken as a partial bid but another as a full bid?
  7. Er, no, I was saying it was £20 off me but you might get one offered cheaper!
  8. Today alone I've refused to bid on over 20 items from the States that I normally would have bid on because the sellers have said that they will put the full value on. Fine, but don't expect us to bid! After a few months they'll start to notice they are getting less and less bids from the Uk and maybe have a rethink but for now, they've lost a lot of money they could have had from me.
  9. I know it explains it, but I don't understand it, sorry - some things I just can't get my head round
  10. Original is very rare and would probably cost you £200 - reissue is scarce as well nowadays. I've got 2 copies of the reissue, one I'm selling for someone else who's put £40 on it (!), one of my own which is £20 but you might get one cheaper
  11. (will be in touch soon, we've all got or had the vomiting bug here so I'm barely on the net last few days...it feels like you've got the alien growing in your stomach about to burst out!)
  12. if you bid say £50.88, do you win it over someone who bids a round £50 or does it only go in whole £'s, so that a bid of £51 would win it?
  13. That was so awful I'm speechless for once...
  14. This never came out on Grapevine, it came out on RCA - and to be honest, it was Russ who used to thrash it, much more than Richard.
  15. never seen it before, thanks so much for posting it ...
  16. I thought the first copy was found in the States and went to Andy Rix, circa 2001? He definitely had it.
  17. Not alone there - had about 8 or 9 asks for it...
  18. That's the one! Boiiiinnnngggg!

  24. PETE SMITH 4 BLAKELEY HEATH DRIVE WOMBOURNE WV5 0HW Pete.smith@freeuk.com 01902 326306 HERES A HANDFUL OF RECORDS WITH SOME SLIGHT WEAR AND TEAR PROBLEMS BUT STILL DESERVING OF A GOOD HOME. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTIONS. THE DALTON BOYS IVE BEEN CHEATED VIP ISSUE VG++ 70 This is super rare as a stock copy. The only reason Im doing it cheap is because it looks a bit scruffy, the VIP logo has been written over with marker pen and it has some ring wear. The vinyl looks VG++ but trust me when I say it plays EX, super-loud and sounds brilliant. This has Somethings Bothering You on the B side. RUBY ANDREWS JUST LOVING YOU ZODIAC EX 60 SOLD Has a cue burn on the very first second, nothing else, after that it plays absolutely perfectly and the vinyl is in top shape. Writing on the label makes it look worse than it is, but if you want to play this out you cant go wrong with a copy like this no scratches or clicks. THE LOLLIPOPS LOVING GOOD FEELING IMPACT EX 50 This is a super copy but has a little label tear at the bottom which obscures the LOL in the artists name, thats the only reason its this price, the vinyl is excellent. TIMOTHY WILSON LOVE IS LIKE AN ITCHING IN MY HEART BLUE ROCK VG+ 20 Has a tiny cue burn first note, and a few pops and clicks on the intro otherwise a perfectly acceptable copy of this forgotten version. JO ARMSTEAD I FEEL AN URGE COMING ON GIANT VG+ 15 SOLD Half price due it having some pops and clicks on the intro RIGHT ONTO A FEW MORE NEW ORIGINALS - - ALL CLASSIC OLDIES BUNNY SIGLER FOLLOW YOUR HEART PARKWAY EX- 20 Tiny little label tear where small sticker was removed otherwise fine GENE BURKS YOU GOT IT CHRIS CRAFT EX+ 30 Great lesser known dancer THE CAPITOLS COOL JERK 68 INSTRUMENTAL KAREN EX 20 Cracking instrumental version J.J. BARNES BABY PLEASE COME BACK HOME GROOVESVILLE EX+ 20 Classic THE PROPHETS MY KIND OF GIRL STEPHANYE EX 20 Brilliant Detroit cheapie MR. FLOODS PARTY COMPARED TO WHAT GM EX+ 40 SOLD Youd be surprised how tough this is to find on its original Detroit label, first one Ive had in years THE OJAYS WORKING ON YOUR CASE / HOLD ON MINIT EX 30 SOLD Two of the greatest sides ever, back to back.
