That's actually cheap for recorded, you must be using lighter materials than me; mine are almost always £1.70, for record, paper sleeve, 3 pieces of card and the mailer. So for me, it's gone up 16p not 40p. The worst is overseas signed for, that has gone up to something like £6.70 !

How can you tell if someone's been online Keith? Reason I ask, I'm permanently logged on, I never log out, but am not actually on the site most of the time, so does that show that I am always on here?
-
There's a counterfeit Deesu which looks really good except the lettering is silver instead of gold.
-
Sure do, I'm still having problems with f*ckwits not reading the postage rates!
-
Can she actually do that, I thought an Ebay sale was a contract?
-
If you're on about Being Without You, Kev is correct, Sugar mama, Sugar Lips (although some could interpret it as Sure Fine Mama, Sugar Lips)
-
Thinik it may have been listed on ebay USA
-
Totally agree with you. I'm going to do the same with someone who's charged me £4 postage and it came second class standard! That's around 70 pence.
-
Who's Phil, did I miss that bit?

I think there's a write up on this on the last Kent Classiest Rarities cd, decided to name the label Paramount then got some legal hassle so changed the name.
-
Probably for the best.
-
Still doesn't change the fact you're being ripped off though does it?
-
I should think so too, that's outrageous, charging people for your parking! I buy a few hundred at a time. I checked and I actually make 8 pence on a recorded delivery package. Slap on the wrists.
-
Yeah that's my top priority, recycling. I've had people complain when I've re-used packaging, so they always get a brand new mailer and 3 pieces of factory cut cardboard, I charge an extra 10p for that lot.
-
Tell him if he doesn't refund you you'll leave him negative, who was the seller, I think I bid on that
-
Another selection of mainly forgotten early 60's gems; popcorn, r & b, Northern Soul, a Christmas song, some rare ska, and even The Beatles ex-drummer make an appearance on this podcast. The pervious two FOUND IN THE BASEMENT episodes are easily my favourites of all the compilations I've done and this one should be on a par with those two, so stop what you're doing and listen! Listen only https://www.mixcloud.com/mayfairmenthol/found-in-the-basement-more-lost-treasures-of-the-60s/ Listen or download https://podcast9122525417.podomatic.com/entry/2011-04-03T07_28_52-07_00 Johnny Guitar Watson - One More Kiss / Susan Singer - Bobby's Loving Touch / Honey Love & The Love Notes - We Belong Together / Helen Shapiro - Queen For Tonight / Little Jimmy Ray - You Need To Fall In Love / Jennifer Wells - Dining In Chinatown / Lee Andrews - Operator / Val Martinez - Someone's Gonna Cry / Ed Bruce - I'm Gonna Have A Party / Johnny & The Hurricanes - Minnesota Fats / The Devonns - Freddie / Roland Alphonso - Jericho Chain / Jimmy Hughes - My Loving Time / Eddie Bo - You Better Check / Keith & Billie - Tastes Sour Don't It / The Skatalites - Cocunut Rock / Jan Bradley - Please Mr. Dj / Johnny Mcbee - Nothing But Love / Freddie Mitchell - Spanish Onions / Marty Hill - Mr. Oracle Of Love / Ronnie Hawkins - Whatcha Gonna Do / Don Drummond - Freedom Sounds / Tami Lynn - World Of Dreams / Sammy Turner - A Child Was Born / Justin Jones - Dance By Yourself / Marie Knight - Come On Home / Mike Finnegan & The Surfs - Bread And Water / Pete Best - Boys / Robbie Lee - Let Me Know /
-
Might have been the one I sold 3 weeks back - to someone in Australia!
-
Not a craze, I've been listening to this show since the early 90's (still have tapes of some of them) and they've always played a couple of Northern sounds and described them as such. I once won a Minit Records box set as a competition prize back in 1993.
-
I regularly send £50 records to the States, not many of higher value, I send them airsure, costs about £7. I'd guess additional compensation is around £2.50 up to £500.
-
I thinmk that's a little high, I'd have said 250 - nowehere near as hard to find as If You Love me.
-
Oh dear Russ, exactly the same words that you patronised me with when I say I didn't like it either, just accept that some people don't like it because it is horrible (TO THEM), not because they don't understand it.
