  1. Three on Supreme, two on Pama, one on Gas, one on Punch. More?
  2. You too Russ, it's only a laugh at the end of the day and you should know by now that I never mean anything nasty. Well I did mean that the record was an absolute clinker, but nothing personal...
  3. You sure - both from the same place aren't they?
  4. Hy-Tone Deafs you mean! BY the way, The Hytones - BIgger And Better - Abet, what a sound that is, now that's a fantastic track, where did they go so wrong?
  5. This is about as good as it gets for a UK Studio One 45, apart from the centre being missing, this one is almost pristine. No scratches, no marks, no clicks, no pops - it's MINT MINUS and I've never seen a copy in such beautiful condition. KEN BOOTHE - MOVING AWAY / COME TOMORROW - STUDIO ONE SO 2053. Stunning. £75
  6. Great minds etc Gene, posted exactly the same thing at exactly the same time!
  7. Kriss, it's completely worthless without it's sleeve - and not much more with it due to the condition. The Beatles albums sold millions of copies but the ones that command the money are the pristine ones, they really do have to be mint. Sorry.
  8. KENNY SMITH - OH LORD WHAT'S HAPPENING TO YOUR PEOPLE - GAR DEMO. * SOLD * Mint, most probably unplayed. £70 & £2 postage Paypal gift only please cheers Pete
  9. It's definitely Robert Crumb though isn't it, he must have been commissioned to draw it - 70's?
  10. Doesn't matter - I'm not going to change my mind just because you lot like it !
  11. Well that was a nice reply
  12. God knows what your other top 4 must be like ikf that's in the top 5....Javells, Mickey Moonshine, what else?
  13. It's f*cking crap, if that was by The Association or some clean cut white group you'd hate it because you're a soul snob
  14. Tony, while you're here, could I just ask you a question? In the 60's, did Island have their own pressing plant?
  15. I'm surprised anyone would pay more than a fiver for that pile of junk...the whitest sounding black record ever made...
  16. Wherever Jayboy and President records were pressed, so were Soul Sounds...
  17. Good to see you living up to your name
  18. Sadly I don't get that excited over records anymore
  19. Remind you of anything/anyone?
  20. I put the book on for £40 in the end....
  21. Yes I'm sure that's an excellent guide to the secondhand book market, thanks for the tip
  22. Interesting stuff. But I have two books which I'm sure really are quite rare, or at least hard to find; Soul Harmony Singles and the Simon Soussan Northern Soul Price Guide. No sign of either on Amazon. I'd wager that even yourself would have a job getting hold of those two? I've also got Skinhead Bible and Boss Sounds and I know for a fact that both of those sell for over £50 each. Also - how do you actually establish how much a book is worth.
  23. Yes the lowest Amazon price was £200 so if some mug customer wants to pay me £99.99 they are welcome to my (unread) copy.
  24. Time to get my soul books out of the garage and list them on Amazon I reckon. Undercut everyone else, Bobs yer uncle.
  25. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JAMES-BARNETT-KEEP-TALKING-FAME-CLASSIC-NORTHERN-/190543392733?pt=UK_Records&hash=item2c5d456fdd £132 when I last looked
