If you can't find more than 15 decent tracks on the entire Goldmine catalogue you're listening to the wrong sort of music, at least 50% of everything they put out was top notch Northern Soul, saying that not as someone supporting the record label but someone who bought practically all of them when they were released and was rarely disappointed. There are hardly an classic Northern sounds that didn't come out on Goldmine. So you're saying the two Golden Torch and Twisted Wheel compilations contain rubbish? The Blaxckpool Mecca one? Whether he's a good guy or not, he's broken several ebay rules and should either honour the sale or not be allowed to sell on there. I had one the other week, one a red and white demo for £13, he then sent me a message saying that he'd overlooked the fact that the record was warped and didn't want to be reported for goods not as described so he wasn't selling it to me. So I reported him for non-selling and he kept sending me these ridiculous emails pleading with me to cancel the case, I said just send the f*cking record then, and he still hasn't. I'm not bothered anymore...

I clean all my records by making them wet then putting a blob of fairy liquid on and washing them to be honest.

Yeah you'll find that many Italian jukebox promos have a different artist on each side, often bearing no resemblence to one another.

Very good but gives me headaches

I used it on a terrible condition jamaican reggae 45, vinyl, it improved it by about 50% to be honest, did it leave a residue? Well it made it extremely shiny. I chucked it away afterwards anyway but just wondered if anyone else had tried it. I used it to get extreme sticker/glue residue off the lid of that jukebox of mine, nothing would get it off, WD 40 did.

Anyone tried cleaning records with wd 40? I just did - came out fantastic. Smells a bit strong though.
