Anyway here's a collection of some well known but mostly lesser known tracks from my UK 60's labels collection. It's mainly soul but there are some nice girl group tracks, a bit of Mod, psyche and a couple of oddities. I also made a little film recently which is basically just a journey through the record box, if you like vinyl from the 60's I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's at https://vimeo.com/27637671 Hugo Montenegro & His Orchestra -Sherry- Oriole Anglos -Incense- Brit Frankie Valli -(You're Gonna) Hurt Yourself- Philips Tom & Jerrio -Boo-Ga-Loo - HMV Gene Latter -Funny Face Girl- CBS Carol Deene -He Just Don't Know- Columbia Ray Charles -I Chose To Sing The Blues- HMV The Shots -Keep A Hold Of What You've Got- Columbia Lesley Gore -My Town, My Guy And Me- Mercury The Royalettes -Never Again- MGM June Adams -River Keep Movin'- King Kiki Dee -Small Town- Philips Engelbert Humperdinck -Ten Guitars- Decca Gitte -The Heart That You Break- Columbia The Drifters -The Outside World- Atlantic Bobby Shafto -The Same Old Room- Parlophone Nancy Wayburn -The World Goes On Without Me- Warner Bros Karen Young -Too Much Of A Good Thing- Major Minor Dee Dee Warwick -Worth Every Tear I Cry- Mercury John's Children -Desdemona- Track Lesley Dawson -Run For Shelter- Mercury Eyes Of Blue -Supermarket Full Of Cans- Deram Stevie Kimble -All The Time In The World- Decca Ruby & The Romantics -Your Baby Doesn't Love You Any More- London Adam Wade -Rain From The Skies- Columbia Samantha Jones -Somebody Else's Baby- United Artists Jimmy Clanton -Hurting Each Other- Stateside

  25. Quote from John Anderson from that Grapevine article I did for Record Collector "Ollie McLaughlin again. We did a deal where we paid the advance and got whatever masters we wanted. This was just being played at the time. I think the Happy Cats were session musicians. The flip, “Destroy That Boy”, was previously unissued." do you think he means it was an unissued Ollie Mclaughlin cut?
