Top 100 Northern Soul Oldies Of All Time
Interesting you should say that, but I couldn't stay 18 and love stompers forever

Out A Sights "for The Rest Of My Life" Saru Current Price?
I'd never heard of it, I'd just got these 30 or so records arrive and Mick Smith says to me, there's one on there I'd like, I'll give you £100 for it, so trusting soul that I am, I let him have it. I was still overjoyed at finding Theresa Lindsey "It's Love" in the 30 records LOL I've had about ten of those since. I think Mick sold it to Keb next day for 500, and it eventually went to JM, might be wrong.

Possibly my greatest ever selling mistake. £100

Tobbi Bowe - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - Patheway
Thanks for the opinions, very interesting as always, but when you're selling for someone else you have to do your best for them, so you can't sell it too cheap - by the same token, you don't want to price it so high that nobody buys it.

Tobbi Bowe - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - Patheway
Fair enough - I have finished episode 2, £500 to you, full ownership rights included

Top 100 Northern Soul Oldies Of All Time
If you have nothing better to do, I've just discovered that these podcasts are still online and available to listen to or download, I thought I'd closed down the account. Whatever you think of the choices, they're good to listen to with the old radio jingles mixed in. https://planetrecords.podbean.com/

Which Northern Track You Dislike The Most
There's loads like that which have just been hammered so much that they've turned into 'handbag' records. Because Of You - Jackie Wilson is another one.

Tobbi Bowe - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - Patheway
Mamie Lee used to be so common that you couldn't give it away, £2, £3 tops. You'd never have believed it could be 50 quid. Didn't know they had reversed labels (that's the Servicemen on Patheway isn't it) but I don't have the record here, someone wanted me to sell it for them.

Wigan Live From 1974
It wasn't, it was Richard Paul. Like Grant says - he plays it on that tape.

Isley Bros. Shout Pt 2 One Sided Demo Rca Demo
No Joe, what I mean is, up to 1960, all the London/Brunswick/RCA/Vogue demos came as two one sided discs, as a pair, so you need to have both the A side disc and the B side disc, but over time, they got split up and you usually only ever find one of the sides. To really be able to say you've got the demo you have to have both sides, but yeah I do it to, sell things as one sided demos, I've got a few orange London ones, Bobbettes etc.

Tobbi Bowe - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - Patheway
Great, thanks Paul. So I suppose I should be looking to sell at £600 maybe?

Tobbi Bowe - I Can Feel Him Slipping Away - Patheway
If I were to have a copy of the above record for sale in excellent condition, how much do you think I should list it for - book price being 700 quid. And would anyone be interested in buying it maybe? cheers Pete

Northern Soul The Film
It wasn't her, it was a guy who used to be on my mailing list, sorry but forgot the name
-
Isley Bros. Shout Pt 2 One Sided Demo Rca Demo
No but Paul's right, for it to be a proper demo you need both sides really.

Jerry Cook - I Hurt On The Other Side
Because in this case the seller knew which of his records were original or reissues and described them as such - except for this one Can't stand this record, going to add it to the 'worst Northern' list I think

Wigan Live From 1974
Don't worry mate, I've still got stacks of 'em. There's a couple here if you want to listen to them: The first one was from Feb 77, pretty sure you weren't there that night, the second one there was just me and you, it wasa very quiet saturday night so we sat on the stage for the only time ever and I recorded it from there, you'll probably hear yourself. That was the night you met that girl from Partington.
