Dandy Livingstone - People Do Rocksteady Just credited to Dandy (as were all his records up to 1972) and called Lets Do Rocksteady. I've got the Nita Rossi record above, though I've never even played the side you list, I'd better give it a listen.

I bought one on Brit the other day for £20. Only 4 or 5 releases on the label.

Also, my mate Tom who bought the Simon & garfunkel version of YDKWYIL, asked me if I could look out for this record by a girl singer, title was "The Move". Is said how does it go, he says "The move, yeah, baby, yeah". I worked out eventually that it was "The La Rue"

A fair few people had a job working out what she was actually singing, including me!

My mate Crispie once bought a pressing of Stubborn Heart thinking it was actually the then newly discovered "Lover" by The Delites, I said why on earth did you think that could be The Delites and he said he thought they were singing "stubborn ooh ooh heart ooh"

Loads of people did that back when The Lovelites first started to get played. I much prefer the slow one myself.

Don't know if anyone's thinking of buying one of these for their kids (or for themselves) but I bought this for Sam 6 months ago and it's only been used four or five times, he's just not interested, so it's just gathering dust. Current retail is around £230 for the X Box 4gb, the Kinect and one game. I've got the box, the kinect and 19 games including Pro Evolution Soccer, Virtua Tennis, four kinect specific games, Halo 3, Lego Indiana Jones and so on and so on. The games must be worth a couple of hundred pounds. I kept most of the original packaging so it'd make a nice gift. * also has a second handset controller which cost £30 on it's own £175 quid. Hey guess what, totally different song, and if you've heard Beryl Reid sing.... mate of mine bought a copy of You Don't KNow Where Your Interest lies in the record bar at Wigan, looked at it on the coach home and thought it looked a bit weird, what with it having the artist name scratched out. Yes that's it. Came out in 77. They even got the title wrong.

You should be ok with the Bill DOggett but there are two reissues of The Ellingtons, one is plain blue and terrible sound quality, the other looks like the Castle original but doesn't have a matrix stamp

Postman is a terrible job, always has been, I tried way back in 1986 and I couldn't hack it, the pressure was enormous and now that they've cut down on the staff it must be ten times worse. As usual, it's the poor old postman who gets it in the neck and not the bosses, and their bosses. Our post regularly arrives at 3pm. Never used to be as bad as this but some of them are having to do two sometimes three walks. So I really sympathise with any postmen.

I like it too - remember listening to this on ipod while walking the dog the one day, it came on out of the blue and whoooosh!! What an instrumental this would have made as well.

Yes but thats a white DJ copy James, and thats ambitious at £85 these days. I could sell you the black one you've got listed for £5. A very out of favour record unfortunately and one you'll struggle to sell whatever the format.
