It's slipping into a "whats the rarest record" thing now instead of which is the longest-time rare record, the answer is definitely Baby Reconsider, discovered in 1968/69 and always stayed rare. Eddie Parker was known in 1972 but to the best of my knowledge was never played at The Torch, Graham Williamson told me he bought it at the Torch but that was just because they were playing Love You Baby, he didn't hear it played there. You've got records from the 73-74 period like Danny Wagner that was never pressed, not ultra rare of course but still a long time rare record. I thought it was these that we were on about.

Sold on in December for £125. Would have asked £150 but had a small label tear. I think this is one of the best Nortern dancers ever made, personally. If anyone has a boot of it they want to sell me I'll give them £20 for it.

I bought a collection of a guy from down south once, Surrey I think, he bought everything on release and I had off him things like Rufus Lumley on Stateside, Kelly Brothers on Sue etc, he said he used to get his local record shop to order him anything that might be soul, be it because of the label or the artist, so he was ordering them in blind and if he liked them, he bought them. Also Ska things like Guns Fever.

Something I noticed, The Mylestones credits a "Littler Leroy" and the Dirty Hearts record credits "The Littler Dirty Hearts". That's a strange word to use on two different records.

I used to do it with a damp teatowel and just do a small press down with a low heat iron, do this about three times and it should flatten out, all depends on the type of warp though and it's very much trial and error
