Paul and Rich, I may be being a bit pedantic but Double Barrel is not actually an instrumental, it's a DJ record. The B side, Double Barrel (version) is an instrumental though.

You may be right but I first heard it on Club reggae vol.4 I think it was, 99p from jenks newsagent in our village

I remember seeing the Ikettes in a wigan top 20 some time in 1975

Was still going strong in 77, the tape I did Feb 12th 77, goes down well on there. Lydia Marcelle was a very rare play from what I can remember. Great though.

From that lot, the Joey Dee was a truly massive record in early 76, bootlegged twice in fact, one of the biggest records of that year.

To be fair it was 45 but the chap bought several so I did him a discount, and also I was told to get whatever I could for the records, so thats what I did!
