  1. I'd have priced a mint one at less than that, and a VG+ one 35/40 quid.
  2. It's the same record
  3. Dazz - different thing altogether mate, I've got a couple of the Snap Crackle Pop 45, yellow label, £30. The Morris on Plush is shown below. It's got a £300 minimum on it.
  4. Ivor - pretty sure this subject has cropped up before, same problem, certainly a Shiptown record has been discussed at length - could have been this one
  5. Don't like to rely on popsike - what if two people had been chasing the same record and bumped the price up - prefer to hear from people who've had the records and sold them. Anyway, doesn't hurt to toss it out there and see what happens does it, after all, thats what this part of the site is meant to be about!
  6. Okay so what about this Morris on Plush then, "Can we melt the ice"? Lust on Cash records. Sammy Gaha on Right On. I have around 50 or 60 titles like this which I'll be selling in the next few weeks & months. I have asked for some expert opinions and even they vary wildly. I should stick to what I know - Northern!
  7. Dave I'm not ungrateful for your help, quite the opposite, I just don't want to f*ck up for the person I'm selling it for thats why I am trying to get to the bottom of it all. Paul, this one is also a promo.
  8. I say it myself, all the time, when I see these daft priced records, especially in auctions. The problem is, once one sells for that, most other people put their prices up to what the auction went for. I do try and reverse that trend when I can! Like that Mel vena Allen I had yesterday was easy £50 cheaper than the auction priced one.
  9. You can't say it's a £25 record though, Don Gardner was once a £25 record - you know what I mean?
  10. Issue - ditto what you just said, 5 or 6 of them - then see it at 75, then hear it's gone for over 100 - just this once, I thought f*ck it, I'll actually put my price up, so I did...
  11. Not listened to it for ages but when I first did, I was just shcoked that it was the same record - I think it is - but maybe needs checking.
  12. Chalky, if it's what Dave said I wouldn't have two offers of £250 each I don't think. Somebody come up with a copy for sale or thats been sold. I don't care - I'm just moving it on for someone - but it sure ain't £20!
  13. Sebastian - thanks for clearing that up! You are right, I was the one confused with the Manship price guide price. So is it a) unknown or b) known but not worth anything? Someone obviously does know it..
  14. Sold it this morning, £80, terrific copy mind
  15. Essence Of Love. This one is starting to do my head in now. Dave T reckons it's only worth £20, the book price or popsike price, can't remember which, is £700+ I've got two solid offers ten times more than Dave's valuation. It's the same track both sides, I Want To Share My Love With You, an uptempo modern soul dancer. Please - anyone got a definitive price? I'd like to sell it but I don't want to overcharge, same time I don't want to undercharge!
  16. I used to get them off TImes Square Records, Must have had 6 or 7 copies on repeat visits, this was long long ago though - 1998-99, since then, only had two or three.
  17. I've certainly got one of them, Whirpool, but it's the same record as Marvelous Ray on Abner - not a cover as someone says above, it's the same recording. There is an instrumental version as well on the Goldmine cd. Robb if I have the files I will PM you.
  18. Thanks for the info on The Pams folks
  19. But with practically no sightings of a copy, sounds a bit cheap!
  20. I'm not mad on it but I'm sure getting a lot of asks for it!
