There's no Island demo...they made a few white labels of certain titles and the odd one is stamped with an A but there are no 'proper' Island demos of the red and white series

I don't think there is a boot of the one sided demo, someone else showed me one that he'd been told was a boot just last week and it was a definite original

£15 is over the top for that one, then again, after seeing someone's UK lists on here today with a Chants at £200 - I sold a mint one for £75 last week, I had 2 copies - I give up trying to second guess UK label prices. All I know is, I don't pay anywhere near book prices for any of them and I've always got a good British collection

When youtube was catching on, and some on here will remember this, I put over 200 clips up including all the Shivaree, Hullaballoo, HOllywood A Gogo etc, then youtube removed them all and banned me for uploading a Motown related video so I decided never to post any more artist footage up.

I didn't think there were any, apart from a handful of test pressings, but there's no denying that this record below was sent out as a demo; stamped red A on the centre, release date 10 Sep 1965 on the sleeve and the message 'order now from your local Selecta depot'. Also the record is a bit of a mystery, it was originally done by Hortense Ellis on the R & B label (also owned by King) and this is a re-recorded version but not sure if the vocalist is again Hortense Ellis under a psuedonym...sounds like a Brit girl though. Fab midtempo dancer by the way. Tony Rounce are you there?
