Very interesting as always Dave but I have to totally disagree with you in that the definitions have changed nowadays, SKINHEAD REGGAE is the definition of the sound of a particular type of reggae released between 1968 and 1970 but it's not the same as YOUR definition of the same sound; you've played me things that you regard as Skinhead Reggae - I totally disagree as they are too slow. Skinhead reggae to me is Sufferer, John Jones, Cat Nip, Red Red Wine, Don Juan, Rise And Fall, Dry Acid, Been So Long, Call You Up etc etc - the fast early reggae. To me it has no connotations with any of the people or groups you describe above, yes it may be enjoyed by the Ben Sherman boys but to me, it's a genre of music all on it's own.
