  1. Yes thats a shocker, they aren't singing in time to the music!
  2. That's the entire f*cking squad then
  3. Answer this hoestly: do you truly know anyone who actually likes BOB WILSON - SUZY'S SERENADE. I've never met anyone who liked it! It was like when John Leach was being played at Wigan - nobody liked it!
  4. Just looking at THE VIRGINIA WOLVES - STAY - AMY, a record I first heard in around 1975 I think. I've only just realised that the group name is a play on VIRGINIA WOOLF. Thick tw*t.
  5. Sorry Kev, what are you saying here? Tim as well? * photo was not showing before, just the bar that said Tim Toad and Helen (RIP)
  6. Anyone see that copy of Stormy Winters - Life Saver - Mercury demo on Ebay yesterday? Can't find it now.

  8. Thats the equivalent of someone playing Footsee at Stoke, surely. Yeah let's all play chart hits, it's so ironic.
  9. Odyssey is a beautiful record but it's too slow to dance to and made the top 10, hence it not being played at rare soul venues. I remain unsurprised.
  10. Spot on. Buster is actually a pretty limited vocalist but thats never stopped most of his records being utterly fantastic.
  11. That's what I was thinking but didn't want to ruin the sale.
  12. Towanda Barnes is a reissue presumably?
  13. Can't remember where it came from Steve it's that long ago but you are probably right - did you record all the artists? Lorraine Chandler etc?
  14. Steve, I have the 100 club show - and Yarmouth - but not Cleethorpes. Would love to see that!
  15. No you were right but I thought you meant I'd put on the whole show, as taped from a video camera, like the Ray Pollard ones for instance.
  16. "Label is very worn" https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roaring-Gos-We-Love-Pirates-598001-b-w-Im-Leaving-Town-7-/110864450980?pt=UK_Records&hash=item19d00945a4#ht_3350wt_1401
  17. There was a guy from Wolverhampton, Paul Walker (not Paul Crispie Walker) from Penn who had one. I definitely saw it, issue copy not a demo. That was circa 1995 though.
  18. I compiled that but I never had footage of Doris Troy apart from on the Channel 4 program about Cleethorpes
  19. I was, cheers, USA copy is common.
  20. Has anyone ever seen a copy of the UK release of Gene McDaniels - There Goes The Forgotten Man on Liberty 55752? I've seen ONE copy ever, and that was back in 1993. I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it.
  21. I forgot to comment on this but as Pikey's Dog says, it's rare and £75 was a decent starting price. I remember seeing one go for £100 more than that a few years ago. I sold one last year for £125. Was very surprised this one didn't sell to be honest. Am proud to be the subject of a comedy sale of the day though
  22. State of this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WYNDER-K-FROG-GREEN-DOOR-bw-DANCING-FROG-WIP-6006-1967-HAMMOND-SOUND-/150794647780?pt=UK_Records&hash=item231c0fb8e4#ht_649wt_1398
  23. Works fine Mike. Tried it the other day and it disqualified words like "to" I think.
  24. Mike, doesn't it come up with an error if you use words of three or less letters (or is it just me!)
