  1. Mine was the first reply and it wasn't a piss take, not sure why you'd think it was - I've never seen that design before. Won't bother in future
  2. You're wedging me into that last category and I've got nothing against anyone of any race - apart from the ones that hate us and mean to do us harm, the poppy burners and so on, so if that makes me racist then yes I'm racist
  3. £50 is about right for an original. £150+ for a demo.
  4. I counted and I did have 40 of those as originals at one time or another
  5. To be fair, Chipping Norton is named after the studio called that, not the town :-)
  6. NORTHERN SOUL - THE BEST SPOT I NEVER DID Now if I were dj-ing somewhere, this is the spot I would have done, however because I sold all the originals and now have to play them from various reissues and boots, none of this would ever be heard as it goes against the originals only policy. Fair enough, but they sound the same to me, so thank goodness for Mixcloud...still, this is the only place you'll hear the original mix of the instrumental to Don't Pretend, and if you do hear it elsewhere, you'll know where it came from! PAT LEWIS – NO ONE TO LOVE CHANDLERS – YOUR LOVE MAKES ME LONELY ARIN DEMAIN – SILENT TREATMENT EDWARD HAMILTON – I’M GONNA LOVE YOU 7TH AVENUE AVIATORS – YOU SHOULD O’ HELD ON HIGH KEYS – LIVIN’ A LIE CAIROS – STOP OVERLOOKING ME THE INSPIRATIONS – NO ONE CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE BUD HARPER – WHEREVER YOU WERE WILLIE HUTCH – LOVE RUNS OUT ELLIE GREENWICH – BABY BETTY BOO – SAY IT ISN’T SO MASQUERADERS – THAT’S THE SAME THING LIBERTY – GIRL YOU BETTER WAKE UP CONSTELLATIONS – I DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO ORIGINALS – SUSPICION TONY MIDDLETON – PARIS BLUES JOHNNY VANELLI – SEVEN DAYS OF LOVING YOU JOEY HEATHERTON – WHEN YOU CALL ME BABY DETROIT SOUND – JUMPIN’ AT THE GO GO POOKIE HUDSON – THIS GETS TO ME YUM YUMS – GONNA BE A BIG THING PERSIANETTES – RUN, RUN FRED SMITH ORCHESTRA – DON’T PRETEND SHARPETTS – LOST IN A WORLD OF A DREAM GLORIA & THE T’AIRAS – I’M SATISFIED POPCORN WYLIE BAND – IN THE POCKET VONDELLS – HEY GIRL YOU’VE CHANGED LOU RAGLAND – I TRAVEL ALONE LAINIE HILL – TIME MARCHES ON J.J. 7. I had that instrumental covered up as "No Trespassing" about 25 years ago, it was on a really cheapo cd, one of the first I ever bought along with everything else, the label was one that issued old recordings by artists that consequently became popular.
  8. No, never booted, and must be very very rare on that label design
  9. I have a Jamaican Moodisc 45 on styrene, however despite having Jamaican stamper numbers, it was made in Canada... I also have a mint copy of the Island 45 if anyone wants it - it has a kind of weird sort of crease in the middle which is hard to describe but it looks and plays mint. £30.
  10. Now with a slightly changed title, my blog page has stacks of new additions so if you like to casually browse through hundreds of rare records, here's your chance. Now shortened to LOST VINYL OF THE 60's.
