Does it definitely have an effect, I look at some people's feedbacks and they've got like 50 negatives but ebay are still happy to let them go on, was just looking at one with 14 neutrals in the last week alone!

Yet Another Ebay Tale Of Overcharging On Shipping
Pete S replied to Quinvy's topic in All About the SOUL
About 6 weeks ago I raised exactly the same subject except mine was with a UK seller overcharging postage by £2, I also wrote a polite email asking why post was so high, he replied that item was actually damaged and sale would be cancelled. It's quite a long thread, I'll see if I can find it. I reported him to ebay. -
Alice Clark booted on Canterbury label. Jimmy Conwell, terrible muffled, quiet sound quality on the boot.
-
If she was on Sure Shot maybe she was Rhonda Davis? Same family of labels...
-
Yep you are right, Jenny & The Jewels, Ritchie Brown, both were popular especially J & The J's, Val Palmer is pretty rare actually, don't think I've ever had it. Funny that she went on to dj at the 100 Club though

I can't see it though, can you, like let's make 100 or 200 demos of all our singles - oh except that one, let's just do 25 of those LOL Was Kim one of your gang? -
I swear I've never heard of either of those (I remember the Tymes when it came out but never knew it got played, and definitely not heard the other one)
-
Got a feeling she was actually portrayed in the Ray Charles biopic a few years ago

Must have been. But if that had indeed come out on Avenue - I bet nobody would have touched it, it's all to do with it being scarce I reckon.
-
I'm not sure about that, I think there's a European twang to the vocals so it's probably an Italian group after all

Maybe she should have made sure he put the right version of Too Many People on instead of that tame second version that did come out p.s. she is talking b*llocks -

Don't think it's worth anything but they appeared to have reactivated the label just for him. -
I have to say I'm gobsmacked but no.1 guy on here sent me a photo of an issue of Roddie Joy so I hold my hands up and say I was wrong in saying it was demo only!

Has a small sticker stain on label (see pic) https://lostvinylgems...piccadilly.html 4) LORRAINE SILVER - THE HAPPY FACES - PYE DEMO M- 100 SOLD Brilliant underrated second single from Lorraine https://lostvinylgems...ye-7n17053.html 5) RODDY JOY - COME BACK BABY - RED BIRD DEMO EX 50 SOLD As far as I know, this is demo only in the UK https://lostvinylgems...ed-bird-rb.html 6) HELEN SHAPIRO - LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER - COLUMBIA EX 20 A superb version of the Chuck Jackson number. The photo is of the demo which is not for sale, just the issue. https://lostvinylgems...r-shoulder.html 7) BARRON KNIGHTS - I'M COMING HOME BABY - LANDSDOWNE STUDIOS ACETATE EX- 70 SOLD The original one sided acetate of a really good cover of Mel Torme, very hard to find on Columbia, this is a one-off https://lostvinylgems...e-dmond-im.html 8) PERPETUAL LANGLEY - TWO BY TWO / SURRENDER YOUR LOVE - PLANET M- 120 SOLD Stunning double sider in immaculate condition, Two By Two is an original pop stomper, Surrender is a version of The Carrolls. This one is impossible to find. https://lostvinylgems...planet-plf.html 9) THE SOUL AGENTS - GOSPEL TRAIN - PYE VG+ 50 Has numerous background clicks on the church organ intro which fade once it gets going (after about 10 secs). Truly fantastic Hammond organ workout. https://lostvinylgems...e-7n-15768.html 10) PAUL KORDA - JUST COME CLOSER TO ME - COLUMBIA DEMO EX 30 Hadn't seen a copy of this in years then got an issue and a demo...totally forgotten Wigan one play wonder. Picture shows an issue, that is for sale at 25.00 but it's the demo that's 30 https://lostvinylgems...oser-to-me.html 11) DANNY WILLIAMS - WHOSE LITTLE GIRL ARE YOU - DERAM EX 40 Very hard to find original 1967 release with inverted matrix https://lostvinylgems...e-girl-are.html 12) ERROL DIXON - I WANT / NEED SOMEBODY TO LOVE ME - FAB EX 40 SOLD Two cracking UK dancers, if you like "The Hoop" you'll enjoy these - typical mid-60's soul/mod sound That's all for today.. You know I was working out how much it costs to post a record nowadays, I use a new mailer plus 3 bits of card and usually a new white sleeve, that lot cost 60p, so I actually lose 60p with every record sent. Financial suicide really, but there's nothing I hate more than cutting up cardboard boxes! Chubby Checker on Spanish London has got nothing to do with anything, it's a legitimate release by London from 1976 when it almost made the UK charts on it's reissue.

Jeezus, anyone want mine for £50?

Sure you can

I know, I keep thinking about it...but after working for myself for so long, I can't imagine being told what to do by someone else..
