  9. Thats really interesting, thanks, look at the difference - though none mention a signed for service? https://www.interparcel.com/quote/courier-quote2.php?packagecount=1&code=hVQ84iZ%2F3aQDuhKVgF5KkQ%3D%3D&id_coll_country=UK&id_coll_postcode=wv5+0hw&id_del_country=Italy&id_del_postcode=44034&weight%5B1%5D=1&length%5B1%5D=31&width%5B1%5D=31&height%5B1%5D=2&x=130&y=18
  10. Best fashion ever I reckon, 1970-71
  11. Nobody "shot you down", nobody's saying it's not a very collectable record, it's just not worth 5 or 600 quid! The Lee Perry looks nice on JJ, did you know there's another version of it, Derrick Morgan - Hard Time - Crab, don't know any others which use that rhythm.
  12. I'd have thought so, though you might get a cheaper one from the USA
  13. I think they look great, I'd love a set of those, some great selections for 45's as well.
  14. I know exactly where you're coming from with this, I've always had people round looking at records I've had for sale, they go from a couple of quid to 4 grand the most I ever sold one for, but the bread and butter is originals, however when they say have you got your own collection I point at the top shelf where there's about 250 records, these are those that I've always loved from day one, from the youth club, through Wigan and beyond, they are on any old label: soul galore, pye disco demand, grapevine, carvers, I don't care as long as I can play that one particular record whenever I feel like it, I don't care what label it's on and I don't care if people scoff about my "collection", but I'll never sell them.
  15. They disappeared as a mail order business but they have this one shop which the owner of Oldies gave to his son to run to give him a job.
  16. I had Hypocrites and Last Laugh in my previous collection, actually Last laugh came out of Oldies Unlimited in Wolverhampton, as did that Happy Organ Studio One 45 I sold you Tone, I don't think they have had anything since!
  17. I'm afraid I'm guilty of this from time to time, if I do a set sale list and things don't sell, sometimes I put them on ebay, then a couple of days later someone will ask if it's still available and I usually say it's on ebay but if you definitely want it, I'll cancel the ebay auction. Most of the time there's no bids anyway, but sometimes there are.
  18. I CAN'T REDUCE THESE ANY FURTHER BUT I WILL DO FREE POSTAGE NORTHERN SOUL ALL USA ORIGINALS, SOME PREVIOUSLY LISTED, REDUCED ETC SOME CRACKING STUFF HERE... 19. Am just about to send a very rare reggae 12" to Italy, value £200, Royal Mail don't do a signed for service (only international signed for which gets you to the country you are mailing to but no further. Other destinations you are able to use Airsure, but not Italy) I need a signature for this one - anyway, thought I'd try DHL, for a signed for 12" single they charge £33. I thought that was bad. But UPS charge £56 for a signed for 12" single. So it looks as if there is no viable alternative to Royal mail unless anyone knows otherwise?
  20. I always thought Jack Sparrow - Ice water / Soul Bros - Ska Culation was a rare one, but having got it (paid £30 off a US site!), I now realise it's More Ice Water and Miss Ska Culation that I was after
  21. Is there a WD of Sounds Of Excitement? Never seen one.
