  3. Late 80's I think.
  4. All counterfeits are bootlegs in that they are illegal pressings, except a counterfeit is a pressing that sets out to look like the original, often in an attempt to pass it off as such, whereas the more general term bootleg refers to any illegal pressing of a track.
  5. You know he was joking...
  6. I know you would mate but I can't let you do that, instead I'll gibve you £12 each, how's that?
  7. Nah I was just lucky, well patient and lucky, I had looked at every single record in that section so the work paid off. I remember when £6 was the actual going rate though!
  8. It's a definite original. There is no bootleg of the cream and red issue.
  9. "Pretty Girl", with sound clip, superb https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JACKIE-EDWARDS-SKINHEAD-REGGAE-SUE-WI329-STAGGER-LEE-PRETTY-GIRL-EX-LISTEN-/310422478414?pt=UK_Records&hash=item48469f1e4e#ht_2140wt_1414
  10. Well you have to put sold on it anyway but am I right in thinking that until you have made so many posts, you can't actually edit your original post, so you to write SOLD in a separate post anyway?
  11. Thanks for that Chalky, wow Pete was certainly outspoken, seems he changed his mind about one or two people by issue 3 but really good to see someone telling it how it is. Great stuff.
  12. Can't see as you have done anything wrong Duncan, the single sales thing is when people put four or five single ads in one day.
  13. Yeah after reading all this I'll stick £40 on it
  14. My camera's not good enough to capture it Dave, can't get it to focus, but the info that's coming out of this thread is very interesting indeed.
  15. I can't believe anyone who was attending allnighters in the 70's did not relate to Quadrophenia, especially the living for the weekend ethic, the highs of saturday night followed by the comedowns, being ill at work etc, looking for gear during the week, visits to chemists and so on, absolutely 100% reminded me of "us" when we were younger and still does.
  16. Would think Wigan 1975 going by it's reissue that year on UK Capitol. Think I have a tape of Richard playing it. I agree, it's crap.
  17. The Sassy copy should only really be 150 but I see people selling it for 200-300, if they get it, good luck to them
  18. If I was selling it I'd want £20 for that one.
  19. I think the James Carr B & C demo appeared on ebay a couple of years back

  21. There's a really rare, first label release of this, only ever seen it once, on the "P.S." label, dark blue label.
  22. Have put a stack of cd's on Amazon, all originals, most are £2.50 each, 50's to now, all types of music, pop, soul, punk, psych etc, and if anyone likes 80's music (I don't!) there's stacks of those too...might be worth a look https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&asin=B00005CDUR&isAmazonFulfilled=0&isCBA=&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&seller=A1VDSA1VPOJRPX
  23. Both me and Paul (MR. C) absolutely hated Sam Williams - Love slipped thru my fingers when Richard first started playing it in 1977, it wasn't until it came out on Grapevine that I began to appreciate it, it's awesome..
