  1. Careful because both the boot and the original are styrene. They look very. very similar. The boot has PB scratched into the run off.
  2. Never heard this at Wigan, probably cos it wasn't good enough
  3. I don't have a clue mate sorry!
  4. If someone could click on this and tell me why I'm not getting an auction player and just the text, I'd be so grateful! https://www.ebay.co.u...9#ht_500wt_1180 before anyone says I have to post it in the html tab - I am doing that
  5. Just opening this topic again as I'm trying to do this but can't, I put the embed code into the ebay description, at the end of my text, but it doesn't become a player, just a kind of logo which is constantly rotating (like when you're waiting for an apple device to do something)
  6. That Soundcloud is sh*t, I've got nothing uploaded but it says I've reached my quota and need to buy more space!
  7. Cheers Steve, may just have to do that.
  8. Is it a stock copy or a white demo? It was never booted as a demo copy.
  9. Dave I know you're going to mention "Ride Your Donkey" and "Guns Of Navarone" lp's but there's another one which should be mentioned, "You Left Me Standing" which is a fantastic compilation of material originally released on the Rio label and just as important as the other three comps, in my opinion.
  10. The Honeybees on Garrison sounds like it has a different lead vocalist for either side, Never In A Million Years singer is far less harsh than the other side's vocalist. Both great though.
  11. Typically after they take a $96 subscription from me. Just opened a case against them. Doubt I'll get anything seeing as they are owned by Ebay / Paypal.
  12. Anyone having trouble uploading sound clips to Ebay? I can get them up there but they are not encoding, just sat there doing nothing...
  13. Must be Soul then - it was really thick vinyl, but it was cracked, wonder what happened to it...
  14. Bit harsh that, I've got and have had a lot of records on Wirl and the sound quality is absolutely spot on, I had two beautiful Jackie Edwards 45's on Wirl recently and they were fantastic. As a footnote to this, I've had Wide Awake In A Dream on Soul but with red vinyl...or was it yellow vinyl...anyway it was coloured vinyl...or was it on Soul or BRA
  15. No, but that's just the sort of thing that keeps record collecting interesting!
  16. The first couple lines make you instantly think of The Impressions but the drummer spoils the record by overdoing it with the cymbals.
  17. Moses Smith is a bootleg on Sandbag so chuck it away, it's not worth anything in that format as it's recorded at 48rpm! Cool Off is on the Pameline label, orange reissue, green first issue, if it's either of those, it's worth repairing.
  18. Probably not as expensive as you'd think Mik, can't give you the exact figure but it's between 3 and 4 quid for an lp with a mailer and 3 pieces of card...I think it's only about £4 to include recorded delivery
  19. I getcha. And good luck!
  20. Is that an LP track? I had 2 singles by them on Polydor - Ride Your Pony and I think the other was Working My Way Back To You?
  21. I know what you mean. You can't become a "Northern Soul" dj overnight by buying a load of records. It's best to do a few years apprenticeship to find out what it's all about. When I say years, I mean a lot of years.
  22. We all know people like that. They always went somewhere you knew they hadn't, always said they'd heard records that they hadn't. Wannabees.
  23. It did just as much to drive people away as to sustain the Northern scene Barry. And it always will do.
