  1. I think this is on Infinity, very early 60's and a real copy of the "Mister Postman" sound. Pretty good actually. She also had a second single on Crescent City.
  2. I bought an original off ebay about 4 years ago for less than £70 off a UK seller. He forgot to mention it was cracked! So sent it back.
  3. You're right, tough record to sell - probably books about £125 but more likely to get around £80 for it.
  4. I used to play it on the Horace's label...most people did / do
  5. What track? Being Without You? Deesu label, sea green with gold lettering.
  6. Paul. Unissued Musicor track. First out ob a Kent lp, then a Kent anniversary 45 and then on Ady's own label. That was late 80's. Bootlegged early 2000's on a Musicor label. Released again I think on Kent not that long ago.
  7. It's like...funny...but not funny...a bit like Michael Macintyre.
  8. I think you may be missing the point of Comedy Sale Of The Day. It applies to all manner of ridiculousness, from disgusting labels and terrible descriptions to ridiculous, laughable prices. Things we might laugh at, or stare in amazement at. The price for Exus Trek really was a joke.
  9. Yeah the original 45 fades out but when it was reissued in 1977 on London, they used a master tape which didn't fade out and as you say, stops suddenly. I think they used that on the SOS bootleg too.

  11. They're currently repeating The Big Match on satellite, I heard that tune five or six times last night, I might bid on that one LOL
  12. That's a bootleg I'm afraid. £5 on a good day. The copyright date refers to the Cameo Record Company, not the Bobby Paris 45 incidentally.
  13. That was the one record that really broke reggae in the UK and it sold over 250,00 copies! Incredible.
  14. They probably all have me blocked
  15. Luther Ingram pressing / bootleg, described as such by the seller so no problems with that, currently at £135...if anyone would like to give me £35 they can have mine, let alone £135 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370663739270?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D370663739270%26_rdc%3D1
  16. Stranger things have happened mate :-)
  17. He wasn't really mate, the management just wanted to try something different
  18. Practically all UK records in the 70's had both solid centre and push out centre pressings, done at the same time.
  19. Update to Lost Vinyl World Of The 60's. All jamaican stuff again I'm afraid, some bloody good ones though. All with write ups and sound clip links. 20. It is, but when you see it, the label is sky blue
  21. I reckon half that price and £20 more for a white demo...and if your seller is as experienced as it sounds, he should have known what he was selling!
  22. Russ have you tried Amazon for selling cd's? I sell stuff like the above on Amazon for an average of £1.75 to £2 - BUT - I've actually sold over 200 cd's inside the last 6 weeks, so if you add that up, it's actually a pretty good return.
  23. Whatever. Just sick of people saying there were loads of 13 and 14 year olds there, because there wasn't.
  24. Agreed. The 1975 blue VeeJay 45 is a legit 2nd issue or reissue.
  25. You sure this exists as a single? I've got it listed but no number, no B side. It might be called "Baba Jerk".
