  1. Yeah funnily enough, I sold a copy yesterday!
  2. Thanks so much to Rod Shard for this...record of the year and it's only Feb 1st.
  3. Are there two different labels - that one and the totally different design one? Thought one was Chicago and one was New York. No doubt I am wrong.
  4. Timi Yuro unissued Spanish It'' Never Be Over is at around 1:06.25 on this podcast. https://www.mixcloud.com/mayfairmenthol/brilliant/
  5. Go on then Blake, kick it off!
  6. Well the Torch played Sounds Orchestral so why not Leon Young Strings?
  7. I had a foreign PS version with the long intro, might have been Spanish?
  8. You might be thinking of "Elisabethan Serenade" on Escort by Sweet Confusion.
  9. Have two copies of this for sale
  10. If I was selling it'd go something like: USA issue £275 USA demo £250 UK issue £400 UK demo £250 - £300
  11. I have never heard it played anywhere but I'm sure someone will say it was played at Wigan because they always do. It might predate Wigan as the two collections I found it in were 'old boys'.
  12. If I died and went to Hell, this would be the soundtrack to my life.
  13. I'll drop you a packed lunch off tomorrow on my way to the shops ok it's 11 miles from here to there but we prefer doing the shopping in Kiddy. Haven't been in Mr T's for years but you know the saying 'needle in a haystack'...
  14. Used to get paper lists off him so he must have been at it a long time...might have been via Discoveries magazine...am going back 12 or 15 years now though
  15. No I just drive past on my way to Tescos
  16. If you're working opposite the shop, are you in one of those porno bookshops, there's two down there, the sleaziest 100 yards in Kidderminster
  17. I use something called JDOWNLOADER put the youtube url in, and it will show you the various audio and video files (mp4, mp3 etc) of that track. Simply right click the file you want and it records it in 10 seconds or so. No converting, nothing, all files ready to go. Brilliant, free program.
  18. Well to be honest, I was thinking along those lines, I know I only got £75 for it because it sold for a daft price in auction and I don't usually use exploitation tactics like that really. Before then it was always £25. I only opened this topic to try and find out why someone rated it at £300. "Bigger your heart" is alright but it goes on and on and you're waiting for a chorus to happen and nothing does!
  19. Why were you thinking of battering them over the head and burying them if they asked you again?
  20. Didn't want to post this on someone's sales thread as comments aren't allowed but seeing this described as being £300...not trying to be funny but it's never been a tough tune to find, Domar had huge quantity that he knocked out for £20 or £25 each, I sold one for £75 in November 2011 for £75, someone else sold one for £80, when did it become a £300 record and why? Another ridiculous auction price I suppose * * yes it went for over £100 in an auction
  21. So how did whoever come up with this £1500 - $2000 price tag? Bizarre.
  22. They tend to turn the collars up on their Fred Perry's though.
  23. Probably result of an auction? Record is worth say £600, two people want it so they bid against each other until it reaches £1000. People see this, automatically think that the record is worth £1000 and start listing it at that price. Happened hundreds of times in the last few years. Only way to explain a £20 Jackie Edwards record selling for £300 and so on.
  24. GOLA TRAINERS: I KNOW THIS RETRO STUFF IS COOL, BUT IF YOU HAD THOSE AT SCHOOL, PEOPLE WOULD LAUGH AT YOU didn't mean to shout
