    Oh Phil I know exactly what you mean, last time I played out I went down like a lead balloon as they didn't want to hear anything not on K-Tel Presents 20 Northern Soul Greats, the bloke who followed me kicked off with Because Of You, Ghost In My House and just to rub my nose in it, Jimmy Mack by Martha & The Vandellas, and the previously empty floor was now packed.

    I think you are missing the point, honestly, because the point, the one and only point, was not about record prices but about people getting stuck with huge collections because they have no one to hand them down to because in a decade, two decades, anyone who wanted them will have shuffled off...

    On one visit to Tunbridge Wells or Tonbridge can't remember which, this scruffy bloke was sitting outside a bakery type shop begging, so I went in and bought him a cornish pastie cos he looked half starved, he more or less told me to f*ck off with the food and give him money, you know what I was so tempted to stick my foot in his face, actually I wish I had now...waste of a good pastie.

    Thank you! I can't remember a week when I didn't play this record at least once. He played every instrument himself and did all the vocals too.

    I need vol.1 issues 1 to 4, that would be probably December 73, Jan 74, Feb 74, March 74...and I also need October 74. Has anyone got any of these for sale or could they point me to somewhere that specialises in magazines? I've got all the rest and thought it would be nice to get them bound. I saw I think Jan 74 on ebay but it's £15 and I wouldn't pay that sort of price.

    I actually did this last week when making my will. One was my all time favourite record, I Saw The Light by Todd Rundgren. I'll keep the other two private for now. Just thought it a coincidence you asking this when I'd just done it.
