  2. I have seen it, though not in the flesh
  3. I think it's the intro, then he sings a melody which reminds me of Headline News and I want to repeat 'read all about it' after each line he sings. But I think it might be the flute, I've got a thing about them.
  4. I have a spare of this for sale by the way
  5. I'd rather listen to the sound of myself having diahorrea than Bobby Kline.

  7. Well those seller are f*ckwits and robbers mate. It sold over 50,000 copies in the UK. There will always be a copy on ebay uk reggae at any given time.
  8. Kind of what I was thinking Bri. Jack Montgomery is only £125 in latest price guide
  9. Groundhog Day
  10. What do the panel think about a mint copy of JACK MONTGOMERY - DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON ME - BARRACUDA. Not only one of the best vocals ever but a stunning instrumental version of The Honey Bees NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS on the B side. I was thinking £250 but then I see people asking £250 for Dearly Beloved which is common compared to this. £275? Also Billy Hambric on Drum, She Said Goodbye, Mark Bicknell sold one on here last month but the price has been removed.
  11. It's not one of my favourites either but you've got to appreciate the craft in there. Mick Smith, who has been on the scene for night on 50 years, reckons this is the greatest Northern dancer ever. It's not far off. Like I said, if it was an unknown that you were hearing for the first time, people would go completely mental for it. And of course bear in mind, when it was first discovered and played, it didn't set the world on fire, yes it was popular for a few weeks but the Eddie Foster bootleg killed it so it's only since the cd age and the 'worlds rarest record' tag was put on it that it's become a subject for derision and not praise.
  12. With or without rarity one of the greatest things ever recorded and anyone who says to the contrary needs psychiatric help. If you could explain exactly what is wrong with this track, please do. Oh is that awful Funk Brothers group playing the music, or the terrible vocals of Frank Wilson, or the rubbish tune and lyrics? Dead easy for people to say that something they've heard a million times is crap, but if you heard that record for the first and only time you would be knocked off your feet and begging to hear it again. Even just that inro, when it builds, the anticipation that it's going to deliver the goods and BAM it sure does...
  13. Trevor Nelson dominated the debate despite not appearing to know what he was talking about most of the time. It was very, very poor. But the two previous night's shows were the best thing on tv this week by a mile.
  14. Two years ago? Was it broken?
  15. It's pretty easy to pick up mate, £20 for a mint one but any less, £8 to £15 really. This UK version is way better than the Jamaican mix, the Jamaican one doesn't have the strings which make the UK one so beautiful. Next one I get I'll give you it. In fact I might have one on my jukebox (though I think it's Jamaican - doh!)
  16. Best Ska version of a Beatles tune ever
  17. Can't see them on his site, doesn't matter anyway, despite someone emailing me to tell me "if I didn't want tp pay £15 I'd have no chance of getting copies", I actually got issues 1, 2 and the missing 1974 one for F*CK ALL due to me having some nice friends who gave them to me. I might just pay for the missing number 3 but not more than a fiver.
  18. PRINCE BUSTER - A QUIET PLACE - BLUE BEAT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqKnq87p5UQ
  19. ALTON ELLIS - AIN'T THAT LOVING YOU - TREASURE ISLE
  20. THE TECHNIQUES - YOU DON'T CARE - TREASURE ISLE
  21. THE UNIQUES - OUT OF LOVE - TROJAN
