You just need to get some kind of knowledge as to what's rare/collectable/original. In the main, UK releases from the 70's aren't worth much money (of course there are some exceptions). Most records on Mojo can still be found for £5. I know it's listed at £15 but thats very optimistic. Sometimes if they keep a record on catalogue for a year maybe, they might just rejig the typeface to fit in with current releases.
If you were to just make a list of everything you've got to sell
artist - title - label
people on here would be able to price 90% of them without even seeing the records, honestly.
There's an instrumental of "A Case Of Love" on a one sided white demo, credited to the Renfro Orchestra and strangely subtitled ("Doctors Theme").
I am sure these are Simon Soussan jobs, but I saw one last week for the first time since 1989 so they are scarce. Also in the JM book but not listed as a bootleg.
You're wasting your breath. They've been reported to the moderators countless times, nothing ever gets done. They're so pathetic they even sabotaged a thread Mark Bicknell started thanking me for getting a record to him within 24 hours. And how they were allowed to remain members after what they did to Sebastian - sending a registered package with no record in it - is just beyond comprehension.

For those who can't follow the link it's Hi-Fi White - I Need Somebody - Sandman in condition 'weak VG' which sold for $809 last year. I was planning on listing it at £25!
No they often put the same song on both sides of a record, it's to make sure that the right song gets plugged. And of course there are often stereo/mono versions of the same song back to back.
Not sure anything's changed there, back "in the day" all the dj's had to have the same top sound or they'd be left behind, they probably didn't all like them but knew they'd get asked for them so they made sure they'd got them.
That Naked Truth RCA issue - Mick Smith had one in his box for years, I used to joke with him that he would never sell it - it was £30 and he sold it at the last Cleethorpes, he thinks.
Might be - used to be about getting hold of records you liked, whatever the condition - but if mint records are now trophy pieces for rich people - so be it.
Underwhelmed, yes probably.
Amused, at the sight of some of you creaming yourselves over the likes of Eddie Parker and Gwen Owens just because they might be in better nick than usual. They've been around for nearly 40 years.
(not saying they're bad records - totally the opposite - two of the best Northern records you could ever wish to hear)
Have you ever seen some of the records people like Hootenanie on here sell - truly rare records - but no topics written about those.
That Classics on Yan G I sold, rarer than Gwen & Eddie, but who knew?
It's like someone telling you to watch this shiny little coin spinning, you are under my power, you will be overwhelmed and start gushing for no real reason
You're getting f*cking tiresome now, change the record.
Sorry but Gwen Owens - big deal - even I've had a copy of that, it was played out by 1976 and there are numerous copies around. What am I meant to say?
Kegsy if I were you, refund the guy and then just forget about it, I know it's annoying but £15 at the end of the day isn't £150, just mark it off as an unfortunate episode.
They presumably did that one to replace the faulty one by which time the momentum had gone, hence it's rarity. Though maybe that labels distribution wasn't too clever - Two Plus Two springs to mind.
I think, taken as a collection, these Outtasite releases are amongst the best UK releases ever. In fact, disregard 'amongst', they are the best series ever. Better than Grapevine, Kent, even Stateside. In my opinion, obviously.
