I feel alright, I don't spend that much time really, I do 9.30 til 10.30am, then 1pm til 1.30, then 6.30 til 7pm - all the other times I come are inbetween doing other stuff and just clicking on new posts, if there's nothing I can add to I just go away again and come back later...

Not a tenth as good as Larry Clinton

I had a vinyl issue and it took bloody weeks to shift it, think it went for 70 in the end. As correctly stated, original demo is stereo/mono, boot is mono/mono

Haven't had a real bargain in ages but not been looking to be honest...when I lived in Hastings I used to get some great buys frankie & johnny - uk decca £1 ray charles - don't need no doctor - uk hmv demo 50p tintern abbey - vacuum cleaner - deram demo £5 artwoods - art gallery LP - uk decca 50p billy joe royal - hearts desire - uk cbs 30p steve alaimo - every day i have to cry - uk pye int 50p wilson pickett - let me be your boy - uk mgm demo £6 if anyone has any old copies of my magazine, I used to feature all the bargains in there, stacks of them the oddest one, was in 1999, I'd been to a boot sale, found nothing, got a phone call about an hour after I'd got back, bloke I know says he thinks he's found a record at the boot sale which I might be interested in - anyway, apparently this old lady only had the one single, it was leaning against the wheel of her car, he paid her 10p for it and was on the phone to me within minutes - it was a mint Uk Polydor demo of To The Ends Of The Earth by Tony Middleton! I gave him £200 for it...

For goodness sake it's just a light hearted piss take. If you don't like it, don't read it, go elsewhere.
-
If they can withstand people taking the piss about their Northern Soul Burgers I'm sure this will be like water off a ducks back

The problem is though, we are all quick to take people to task on ebay for overpricing records, in fact there's been a thread running for 2 years on here Comedy Sale Of The Day. If I, personally, was selling records and putting these sort of prices on them I would expect someone to comment. I should also add and this is no word of a lie, I remember offering them my remaining UK collection in 2009 which at the time included Chapter 5, Chubby Checker, Cajun Hart, and 200 others, and they offered me £500 for the lot. Strike me down if I am lying. I've no bones to pick with anyone, I do what I do, others do what others do, but crazy prices and claims are things that will always get talked about. And I don't think anyone's being nasty about it.
