  1. I do all mine on Mixmeister Benji. You place the tracks in the order you want, make sure they're fading into one another properly, when happy you click a button and it turns it into one large mp3 file which you then upload.

  3. It's not necessarily 10p though really, it's just that someone bid more than you and 10p was the increment. You'd have lost, snipe or not.
  4. Spose it does, it's the only room I'm allowed to smoke in (at night only, with fan fully on and all windows open) and it's also my 'office' so I spend most of my time in here to be honest.
  5. On the one wall I've got three floor to ceiling bookshelves containing all my singles (well not all, just the soul and reggae), theres a table pushed against the next wall which has my mac and pc on it, then on the third wall (the one opposite the singles) there's a tv, sky, playstation 3 and a jukebox. Now if I had a pool table the room would be complete but if I did, no-one would be able to get in.
  6. I'd ask you to change the record but it'd sound just the same as the one you played before it.
  7. Oh my aching sides. Which is the soulful bit by the way?
  8. When you say "another" ....
  9. No, the electronic din has.
  10. And thats better than the one everyone hates is it?
  11. As I said, price of posting a single won't be going up. Records already are large letters. You'll be paying 5p extra for recorded delivery. So your one single by 1st class recorded is now going to be £2.20
  12. Probably the same chap.
  13. Not going up. Same as before.
  14. I agree with everyone above except Ian, it's a shocking rip off and he should at least justify it. The seller is Dave Kirk I think. Used to knock around with the Wolverhampton crowd in the later years. Ask him why it's so high, and don't buy off him. Or buy it then leave him 1 star.
  15. A thousand more I'd have said...
  16. Welcome to the real world. Christ when I think of the collections I've had to sell. If someone had offered me a lifeline to keep them I'd have jumped at it. Didn't notice any of you helping me keep my last British collection, I might have been able to had there been this option.
  17. I said the ones that came out on lp, single and cd were fast - if yours is an emi from the period, it's probably the right speed
  18. I know, it was mentioned elsewhere, it should have been £65 not £650. It's as if a bunch of lunatic Northern Soul millionaires have all escaped from an institution at the same time.
  19. It's the same basically. They're a registered company, part of a national company, not just one bloke. Q. I would like more information, is it possible to speak with someone? A. Of course you can, you can always email us or phone our shop/offices; we’ll be happy to chat things through. Cashbrokers St Neots Holland and Smith Ltd t/as Cash Brokers Tel: 01480 219131 stneots@cashbrokers.co.uk Registered in England & Wales: 20 Sansome Walk, Worcester, WR1 1LR Company Number: 08170421
  20. quote Q. What happens if I can’t afford to buy my records back after 28 days? A. You just contact us, and you just pay the fee for the month. We will give you our Bank details to process this payment. This way you extend your term for another 28 days. The Golden Rule: Contact us if you know you are going to be late, we can be flexible — but only if you communicate.
  21. No. You'd have at least 3 months to raise £66
  22. Yes I do, it's Martyn Smith and almost every record I've sold on here in the last month - and there have been some bloody good ones, including everything on yesterdays list - have been his, and he used the cash I got for him to set up this business idea.
  23. The big dealers do these types of loans against records. Tim Brown does anyway. Is it because you don't know the person behind it so it's got to be a joke right? It's a 100% legit service and it might become very useful as a way of obtaining money in the short term - you just use records as security instead of the family silver. So what's the problem?
  24. You can pick it up fairly easily on a white label 45 with Barbara McNair on the other side. Just as 'legal' as the emidisc. It's pressed slightly too fast though, in fact all reissues on lp, cd and 45 that I'vr heard seem to be at like 48rpm
