  1. HAVE JUST REDUCED THE MAJORITY OF THESE 45's - IF YOU'RE READING THIS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TIME, THEY WILL ALL BE ON MY WEBSITE AT www.raresoul.co.uk
  2. I know they would Steve. Can't blame them for trying, but what about the sheep and the mugs who pay the inflated prices though? Reminds me of when that well know £3 record "Stanky" went big, people who wouldn't have touched it with a bargepole when it was £3 suddenly had it on their wants lists.
  3. No but will take a photo
  4. It is I think
  5. That's a rare demo that, I just sold one but it took a while to sell it, £30...worth £50 any day
  6. Funny how I can't sell my Jackie Edwards and Melvena Allen for £60 the pair, they made over £600 when auctioned! So they weren't rare in the first place.
  7. So it was a poor idea to stick it in my last 50 records for 100 quid pack then?

  9. So it can't be an ordinary jiffy bag, it has to be bought off them?
  10. One vinyl one styrene - can't tell you anything else, one survived, one broke.
  11. This is actually true.
  12. No apparently that was intact.
  13. MARY FORD - ONE IN A MILLION - TOWER ok so it's just an alright version of Maxine Brown, not particularly, it's just that I got a copy today and it's not on Tower, it's on UPTOWN 1571. Never seen or heard of this before. Doubt if it's worth anything but if I ever I see something I never saw before, I tend to mention it!
  14. No wonder it never got released, really amateurish vocals, out of tune and behind the beat half the time, poor echo-laden production which doesn't help.
  15. He does mean NEW vinyl Sooty as in new release. I think. Can you clarify please Joe?
  16. OK let's start again, sorry Liam. I sent it out, with 3 bits of card, in a proper mailer with a sticker on it saying FRAGILE DO NOT BEND, but they did bend it. I got it back this morning in the same packaging which I have to have to send to Royal Mail to claim. I might start NOT putting fragile stickers on as it looks like it attracts unwarranted interest from psycho postmen.
  17. Don't insult my intelligence by asking such a ridiculous question then. Do you think I put a sticker on it saying "please bend this record in half and break it" or something?
  18. Stupid question of the week award
  19. B*stards. This had another record and two stiff pieces of card in the mailer with it, you couldn't physically bend it.
  20. I had a zero feedback bidder from France win two of my reggae auctions, there was absolutely no way I was going to sell them to him, so I didn't send an invoice, and he never even contacted me to see why I hadn't sent an invoice or to ask how to pay. So I thought I was justified, he was indeed a 'fake' bidder and I didn't lose my records. But now I see he actually has one feedback for successfully completing a transaction, and I feel a bit guilty...
  21. Up until a few years ago, it was sold as a 'pressing' just like any other, for £5 - £10. It's only in the last 5 or 6 years people have been asking more for it. I've also seen it go for £75.
  22. Just to draw a line under this, I'm not a Todd Rundgren 'fan', I only really know I Saw The Light and the almost as brilliant Hello It's Me - I can still remember the first time I heard I Saw The Light, in 1972, and it's been with me ever since. I know a couple of people on here are big fans but I'm just a casual listener, I did try to get into the early albums but failed. I can't stand Meat Loaf though. Well he's ok, it's just his music I'm not keen on.
  23. Ask him if he read your terms and if so, why did he bid..
