Makes you come across as a bit insecure Jock, pulling up people just because they 'like' something. Especially a tongue in cheek post from me. Though I always said that the 'like' feature was devisive. I enjoyed reading the mag, I hadn't seen it before, especially enjoyed trying to guess what the cover ups were.

There's a tune called Crucifixition which is apparently a version of Israelites which is supposedly a one off. But this, and the one Tim mentions above, are sound system specials so shouldn't really qualify, at least Frank Wilson was pressed in quantity (and then disposed of)

The guy's name was something like Yves Guillmot? If so I sold him all my Bowie demos - Pye, Deram, Philips, Mercury. This was way back, 1983. Never went to the shop though.

Reggie - he means is it a cover version of the Trade Martin record on RCA. The answer is - yes, it is the same song.

Very true, and how many times have we heard from artists who said that not only did they not receive any royalties at the time, but didn't even know their record had been released? Sam E Solo on Imperial for instance - I'm sure he said he had no idea that it had been released on a major. Not defending bootleggers but the must have been a massive amount of skullduggery going on within the music industry itself at that time.
