Don't take any notice of Amazon prices though - what happens is that the sellers don't even have the books in stock, they put massive prices on and if someone pays that, they simply source the book from elsewhere. I've got dozens of books for sale on there including many rare ones, I bring up all the copies for sale, find the ones in the same condition as mine, and then undercut them. Like I sold 2 rare Beatles books the other week, top prices were £125 each, most were in the £40/£50 range, I got £30 for them which I was pleased with but the guy asking £125 will never sell them.

Well I suppose if you find out you have the rights to a hit, you may as well release it - that's why there's that very strange release of Dobie Gray "Out on the floor" on the US Thunderbird label from 1975.

They were a female duo, folky type numbers mainly. Active from 69 to 72. Two page one 45's, one on Jam and one on DJM. Also a rare LP on Page One.

It's going to be low three figures, amazing isn't it, you couldn't give Torpedo records away 25 years ago, now half of them are really sought after. Anything with the word Skinhead in it will sell. If I were you, I'd put it on ebay starting at £20 and just watch it fly

Jamie/Guyden Records - Yes they did have the rights to it, and Arctic and all the other defunct labels from the 60's. Records slipped out on Phil LA of Soul throughout the late 70's.

The ones I want out are all on bookshelves, the rest in boxes.

Very true mate. There are loads of records nowadays that I just don't get. Maybe I haven't got the patience to listen and it has to be instant. Sometimes when I download loads of stuff off the net, say maybe 100 popcorn and r&b tunes, I go through them and if I don't like them after 20 seconds, they are deleted for ever!

Well I use a program called JDownloader. Free download. Open it, click "add url" and do just that. It will then show you all audio and video files associated with that page. You can just rip the audio if you want, or the video. For a 40 minute show like that it takes about 2 minutes. For a 3 minute audio track, about 10 seconds.
