In my opinion, nothing is more of a waste of money than Jamaican blanks. You could just get a stock copy and rip the label off it, voila! An original blank. I rate these as being way way down in the food chain. Obviously if it's something that actually only came out on a blank then yes, they are a good buy, but otherwise...not for me anyway.

Because it's unreliable. I got a full refund from them as it was down for 5 days last year.

I don't remember that being used. Babylon Zoo - Spaceman, was that one of them, also something called Underwater Love. Wasn't sure if we were just concentrating on 60's tunes.

Bizarre why would they say that, it was never considered 'that' rare until a few years back. I've had two, maybe three. Well I've had all the MGM's on stock copies. RCA's, a different matter.

Yeah I can imagine it would be the quality of those record your own record booth things they used to have on stations up until the late 60's. But yeah very cool, I love vintage audio.

In the late 50's, Pye invented a record player which not only played records but also recorded on blank discs! Looks like you just changed the headshell and recorded into it using a microphone and you could record onto blank 'magnetic' discs. Whether you could play these on other players, I don't know. Has anyone ever seen one of these in action or even heard of them? Amazing, I never knew these existed.

UK Capitol had a Tower offshoot in the late 70's and they were definitely red so you may not be as bad as you think!
