Guessed that - was about 1988 I think - odd to think that the Tommy Navarro now sells for £40 odd quid nowadays, must have been a short run, 2 or 300?
-
Yep it has. Just remembered, came out on exactly the same day as Tommy Navarro, also with centre knocked out.
-
I didn't think it was, I was commenting on him having it as an original, and knowing Mick as I do, when asked about it he would say "I don't know" LOL
-
That was naughty of him, he knows it's a boot - and he would have had more than £20 on it if it was real

Reissue also has indents where a UK type centre has been pushed out
-
No, never had that, but I did say 'everything I ever wanted to have', and that wasn't on my agenda at all as I knew I'd never be able to afford one.
-
Issue!
-
You might be able to work it out by finding out when those tracks were in the charts, because they were opportunistic cover versions I think, so if they charted at the same time that might show if they were back to back
-
As already said, the one with Ritchie Brown on the other side is definitely a bootleg. Rick you're not mixing it up with jenny & The Jewels "Love is like an itching" are you, that was definitely on the Hit label, played around the same time.
-
Correct, and add a quid on for outside of Europe, sometimes more. Signed for to Australia is now £10 for instance.

This should really have been another episode of "Singles Bar" which features 45's from my collection but I wanted to test out this wonderful 'retro' Citronic twin deck console so I just grabbed a pile of stuff and stuck them on in any order. The experiment went pretty well but the left hand deck seems to sometimes slow down and speed up so apologies if you hear that effect, I tried to cut the tracks that I heard it do that on. Well at least we've ended up with a half decent compilation and I'd think there must be a good 20 tracks on this one that I've never used on any other podcast. Quite a long one too running in at nearly two hours, 43 tracks I think. cheers, Pete p.s. included Pat kelly which people keep asking me for https://www.mixcloud.com/mayfairmenthol/thrown-together-reggae/ I've Got To Go Back Home By Bob Andy 1C.N. Sam is my 7 and a half year old son. About 3 months back I gave him an old iPod and he asked me to put his favourite songs on it (ones from movies mainly) anyway I threw a hundred or so mainly random things on from my itunes to fill it up a bit. After a few weeks I noticed he was singing songs like The Cramps' "Human Fly" and he knew all the words! So anyway he asked me if he could play all of his favourites on "the radio" so we did this together last night. Issues You've Never Seen ( Because They Don't Exist? )
Pete S replied to Agentsmith's topic in Look At Your Box
Not disputing it exists, they all must exist - just saying I've never seen one. -
Yep there's also Dee Dee Sharp on red Atlantic which is terrible quality. And I'd say 75% of all Jamaican records issued in the UK in the 60's were dubbed off disc. Even on some mint copies you can hear surface noise from the original source.

King George on RCA issue? Had one last year, no takers. Might still be able to get that actually, it was a commission sale so gave it back to the owner. * I apologise, it did sell, except I've removed the sale price for some reason! -
Am told there's a Hoagy lands issue on ebay for £800. Well it ain't worth that. It's certainly mega-rare, rarer than the demo, but who'd want to pay that for an issue when they could buy a demo for £500? I had one with a slight bump on the edge, wonder who's got that now? One of the rarest Stateside issues has to be Sharon Soul - How Can I Get To You. Only ever had one copy of this and never seen another. In fact only ever seen one demo in the flesh. Another super rare issue is John Drevars on yellow MGM, only seen one of those as well.

Ah Canadian. Superb.
